You can just buy them off the site he mentioned I don’t have Walmarts near me and the pre orders are a mess. I brought series 2 & 3 off that same site was worth the extra few dollars rather than driving long distance to find them They were $15 more each + shipping on there right? I know they sold out within minutes on that site, I think we're all waiting for the actual retailer to receive their own exclusives. That to me is the main issue here. Walmart exclusives but other sites and third party sellers somehow have them before the retailer itself.

If the SDCC Exclusive rumors are true then I need Zeus in the Superstars line.

This needs to be raised at the next Mattel Q&A. The most likely explanation would be on Walmart's side, employees backdooring them. It's probably not something Mattel can do much about, once the figures are shipped to the retailer, it's out of Mattel's control. Not defending them, only saying it's not really a Mattel problem on that one.

Yeah sadly I've now adopted the mentality that if I can't find these things at retail (or through the retailer's website) I'm not buying them, and I'll just save my money. I refuse to give in to this weird "exclusive-but-all-the-scalpers-have-them" concept of buying toys. While the "exclusive retailer" never even stocks them.....

Wonder if Zeus skin tone matches up with JYD. If so, then can do JYD upper, Hollywood lower removing the deco off tights and boots, headswap and add accessories from SDCC fig.

As long as someone buys the product, even if its a walmart exclusive. There is no point in trying to get this question in for the q&a, because it will not get selected. I do encourage people to ask people directly at the mattel booth at comic con or whatever convention, though.

Completely agree with you on this, especially being in Canada where we barely get any store exclusive products ourselves. It is the most confusing situation, how can Walmart commission/pay for store exclusive product but it never reaches their website or shelves? It's like Walmart drivers are selling stock from the side of the road.

Honestly, what they reveal at SDCC will determine if I put in the effort at a full collection. Currently only have the Flair, Hogan and Honky and while they all look cool, I don’t know if I want to collect them all.

I can see maybe they don't want to clog their shelves & stores up with a slower moving product, but if they are commissioning exclusive products for their customers - why on earth wouldn't they make them available through their own website? It's like they don't even want us to be able to get them at all? And I'd still love for someone to explain to me how an online "pre-order" sells out in a day or less...... I would think the idea of a pre-order is so that the store gets an idea of how many they'll need? Is my thinking so far off on this?

At 20 or 22 a piece and all of the hassle of getting them it's not really worth it for me.

I brought up the question of when Series 2 would hit retail in the Q&A forum and was told pretty straight out that the figures are manufactured and ready to ship as soon as Walmart sends for them. Given the fact that we're already seeing Series 3 start to leak out, I have no reason not to believe this. It's hard to look at the situation and not feel like Walmart is passively killing their own exclusive line before it gets off the ground.

From what I can tell, stores were initially flooded with that awful shirt Wyatt figure which have warmed in every single Walmart I’ve seen I. Multiple states. Plus what looks to be too many Flairs (doesn’t help that neither of them are current TVstars either). So they’ve been sitting there for months. Walmart probably like “why order more of this trash when we can’t shift what we’ve got?” It’s the Hollywood line all over again. Pretty sure we’ll see the rest of the Superstars waves at $50 a piece on RSC soon enough. Such a shidshow.

While here in Canadian Walmart's series 1 arrived in only one province (I never saw it at all) and only once. I found series 2 once but haven't seen a restock. Only series 2 Shawn Micheals was ever listed on the Walmart Canada website.

Not that Walmart's preorders mean anything these days, but their next Collectors Con is on 7/21 and 7/22. Maybe series 3 will go up then?

I'm in the mindset of as long as they are available at some point. I can wait if I know they'll be mass released and available through Walmart, seeing third party sellers get them already though just puts a damper on collecting when there is no other information.

Just snagged Honky from what looked like a fresh case. So it looks like S1 is still getting stocked, for those who need it. They had all 4 figures.
