Vader and Bam Bam would love mighty good next to each other. Think I may get back into the line. Too many good looking figures. I’ll wait and see if Austin gets a figure.

I don’t need a ring but one would be cool for this line. If they did, I’d want it to be in the style of the LJN Sling em Fling em ring. Probably couldn’t do the same artwork for the ring skirt stickers but they should do something very similar that’s inspired by that design.

I love the superstars line. I wonder if they’d ever do a ring… Same. I hope they keep this line going as long as they have the WWE line. If the line keeps going, I think they will give us a ring with exclusive figure included. It sux though that Walmart has rights to this line. They are terrible. They never stock these figures, and when they finally do, ppl have already gotten them elsewhere.

Probably my favorite gaijin tag team next to the Steiners. I don’t need a ring but one would be cool for this line. If they did, I’d want it to be in the style of the LJN Sling em Fling em ring. Probably couldn’t do the same artwork for the ring skirt stickers but they should do something very similar that’s inspired by that design. I'll always equate Remco style wrestling figures with a wrestling ring since I had that 7-figure Battle Royal set. So hope one gets made eventually.

I’d love an AWA style ring but doubt that’ll happen.

I would like to have a ring too. If they make a ring, they are probably only going make one. What would it look like? Do you go with a generic ring with inserts/decals for WWE, WCW, nWo ect? What color?

I'm sure the Warrior '91 Duster is going to an Elite figure, but I found it funny everyone going off because they were thinking it was for Superstars. I would absolutely love if a Summerslam 91 Warrior was coming to this line, but I doubt the duster was for Superstars

With 6 figs every 2 series released 4 times a year, there’s no way they’re putting another warrior in this line anytime soon.

Thinking of the recent WM 7 UE version with duster.

I don't know, they just announced Hogan #2 a few weeks ago and we just got one last year. It wouldn't surprise me if they had multiple Warriors, Hogan's and Savages in this line. They definitely would sell more to the masses

Getting a Hollywood doesn’t really satisfy that classic Hogan need but a 96 Warrior isn’t gonna be much different than an 89 version of the character

I'd say you're underestimating the selling power of Hogan, Warrior and Macho Man, those guys will always get made, remade, bought and bought again. Almost everybody is a mark for at least one of them, I'm 28 and Randy Savage is my all time #1, those guys translate across all generations.
I'd agree that the Warrior duster is probably for an elite, but it does look to be in scale with and made from the same materials as the duster from Series 2 Warrior, so ya never know.
A cool way to go for a prospective ring would be some kind of a 2 in 1, 3 in 1 kinda deal. Just taking that LJN ring for reference, the way it has the cartoon design on the side aprons. Wonder how affordable they could make a product where you had like a mini bumper sticker that you could slide in and out of a clear slot, get like an old school WWF/WrestleMania, Attitude Era Raw and WCW/NWO. Might have to include some extra parts to make things look good, but seeing as this would probably have to be a collector-centric item, one we'd probably only get one of, makes sense to give people options given the wide range of the line. If they can get that around $50 (the retro ring was $20) I think Superstars collectors would support it.

I think their modern basic rings have sides that you can pop in and out and replace with different logos. They could go that route

Bill said in the walk through video that Bam Bam will be in his Japan gear underneath the soft goods shirt. He also wore it at WCW Capital Combat '90

Did he say of he would have the fire balls on the side of his legs?
I dig it! Pretty unique gear to have on him. I’ll have to go back and watch CC 90 now. I don’t remember him being on the PPV

According to Steve (can't remember if I asked him or someone else to be fair), the line is a Walmart exclusive & Walmart would have to request a ring. Which they very well could, but idk, given how disinterested they seem in their WWE exclusives I'm not banking on it. If the line ends up moving to another place like a Mattel Creations I think they would make it because Mattel knows how much collectors love Superstars.

Yeah, I definitely agree that Walmart sucks with exclusives. They always have for as long as I've been collecting, but I was just trying to say that the MOTU line was also a Walmart Exclusive and we got a few rings so I don't see why we wouldn't get at least one. Iirc, the WWE-MOTU single ring didn't sell too well. I remember getting one on clearance for like $5. But the other 2 that came with the figures sold pretty well. I guess I'm just being hopeful. I agree that we'd all be happier if the Superstars line expanded outside of Walmart and could also be found at Target, MC, etc. Walmart has a bad history of canceling lines out of nowhere, and especially skipping on waves/series.
