I'd guess so. Legends went up $2 ($19.99 to $21.99) on the Target app, and UEs went up $3 from $29.99 to $32.99. I guess people in this market could expect to pay $37.99 here soon for UEs.Β Absolutely not a price I'd pay for any single figure in a retail store. I remember when elite were like $14.97 or something at Walmart like 10 years ago. Those were better times for sure. 15 dollars 12 years ago is almost 20 dollars now.

spot on take. that $20 price point is absolutely a "sweet spot". its more than affordable for the average collector, its absolutely a profitable price for everyone (retailer and distributor). $21.99 to me is even pushing it. "something something cost of goods" Elites were $15 when they first were introduced, increased by 50% in a decade? thats beyond anything reasonable. hasbro and mattel will miss a lot of the money because you're not alone in your thinking. the more people cut back, the less the retailers are going to make $15 in 2010 is worth 19.12 now. That isn't far off from what Mattel says the SRP is. And the minimum wage hasn't gone up since 2009. I just love it here /s.

We (UK) already pay approximately $27.40 (Β£19.99) for Elites... have done for ages π€·ββοΈ. Smyths have listed the Royal Rumble figs at Β£24.99!

Its bad enough that distribution in my area sucks. Add a 4 or 5 dollar price hike to that? No thanks.

I'm already used to paying around $30 a figure on ebay. Get ready to start paying around $40 a figure on ebay.

Damn thats crazy. I'm still convinced majority would still pay that price. I mean a lot do on RSC for pre-orders and such. Granted you get those in quicker than you would by waiting for it to hit retail, but still same/around same prices. I pay the RSC prices because I donβt want to deal with the hassle of hunting or waiting for it to possibly hit somewhere online like Amazon or Walmart.

Iβve basically stopped collecting unless itβs hbk or UEβs but if they raised the prices to that they can get the F out. I know some targets in downtown Chicago are higher than all others around so maybe this is one of those targets by where the poster lives.

I need a show of hands from everyone saying they would tap out at $26 for an elite but are happy to pay $32 for an ultimate when they leave both in the box anyway.

I have not bought a full priced wwe figure in many years, possibly before Mattel took over.

How many jyds are at your target? I went to one that had 35 of them. Yes I counted them & there were no chases.

Give it a couple of weeks and the smyths price will go down. I donβt think Iβve bought a full price figure from them for a while now since they got silly priced imo They were always a bit cheaper than entertainer, thatβs why they donβt do full sales, only reduce low stock items they want to clearance etc but now theyβre about level with entertainer
