Horrible. And it took Eddie Guerrero's death to put an end to that gimmick.

Horrible. And it took Eddie Guerrero's death to put an end to that gimmick. I always look back at that tribute Raw after Eddie passed and see Chavo with that bleached blonde hair. It does suck to admit it took such a tragedy to ditch that dumb character, but the truth is the truth. Looking back, I feel like the Ruthless Aggression Era has plenty of stuff that has aged just as poorly as some stuff from the Attitude Era.

I honestly wouldn't have minded if he just ended up as a lower-midcard act. But knowing WWE they weren't likely to stop there and somehow we were going to end up with a Eugene type main event mini run which would have been beyond horrendous.

I was a fan but obviously it had to end after the Eddie tragedy. Chavo & Nemeth could have been a good team

I remember finding the gimmick funny. It had to end following Eddie’s death, but it was fine for a midcard gimmick.
