Doing a little research and interested to find out how people value their collections and get an idea of the average collection in our great hobby. I’ve seen some serious collections on here so I’m intrigued.
Assuming something happened to your collection, the value to get them back I’m guessing would be based on EBay sold pricing?
How many figures do you have in your collection, what value would you place on your entire collection and what is the most expensive/valuable individual item in your collection?
Do people insure their collections? Or like me, is it something you’d thought about and just not done for whatever reason?
Im mainly loose collector these days, I’ve kept a few MOC like defining moments. I’m also trying to complete the Hasbro set, I’m about 12 out. I reckon I’ve got about 350 figures but I’m not sure on value and I’d guess 350 figures isn’t classed as a large collection?
I have a few TMNT and the super 7 MOTU movie figures, would be good to get a feeling of peoples collections.

I think 30.000 to 40.000.
I have every collectors edition, every ringside exclusive, every other exclusive, every defining moments, every Ultimate twice and hundreds of elites moc.
So my mathe was 500 Figures a 60 Euro average. But i have more figures and i think average value could be more because for example pink bret rsce moc and Macho nwo rsce are going for way more...

Between WWE, Marvel Legends, and Star Wars Blacks, MOC and loose, my collection has to be worth 5 to 10 grand. But to me, its priceless.

I’ve got every flashback released (flashbacks,legends,defining moments, entrance greats, rsc exclusive, store exclusives etc.)
Plus all basic of legends characters so there’s hundreds
Based on eBay values I say 10-20k alone… plus elite 1 moc (all 6) . Every ultimate moc and loose…

I have sold off A LOT of my Mattel collection over the last two years but I still have quite a collection.
But my wrestling memorabilia collection has to be tens of thousands of dollars. It has gotten to the point where I have more pieces packed and stored away than I have room to display items.

I used to collect a LOT more than I currently do. I had a ton of loose Legends/flashbacks, mostly elites. Sold that collection off almost entirely (save a few) and got close to $4k.

I’m at that point right now, where I sort of wish I hadn’t invested in a lot of figures that I did. Mainly my jakks, that gave little to no value or I ended up throwing away. I’m trying to at least get rid of half of my collection so I’m not even sure. I assumed the stuff my shelf is worth at least $5k. I wonder how much I’ll get for my loose elite Punks in good condition.

I've spent way more than I should. I bought two of every Classic Jakks ever made. And recently I've been buying 3 or 6 of Mattel elites.

I don't have a idea on total worth of Mattel WWE stuff,I probably have close to 100-125 elites not counting basics and battle packs but I haven't bought any of them for a while. I don't keep a eye on the aftermarket so I don't really know the most expensive, I'm guessing MOC SES Punk,UE Bret,Warrior,HBK and Triple H(2). I haven't been collecting Marvel Legends to long maybe since Endgame but I have a huge Funko collection,on the app it says over $16k. I also have a lot of vintage TMNT and Ghostbusters and some newer Neca Turtles and couple Lego sets.

I'll just say this: the easiest and best money I ever made from toys was selling off most of my MOTU Classics collection. Even the scrub characters that no one likes command a price now. During the summer I was selling 2 or 3 figures at the beginning of the weekend. And was consistently make a couple of hundred and my listings would rarely last more than a few hours.
Only thing close to that would be some of the Storm figures...the few that I've sold loose I was able to get 2 or 3 times what I paid for them.
