Only GCW match I've ever seen was Mox Vs. Gage from last October, but this card looks crazy so I decided to check this show out.

So really fun show in person, some puzzling finishes and that world title match was not very good. But fun show kudos to GCW again!

The issues I had were that NY state doesn't allow blading, glass, chair shots, weapons. That really hurts the GCW product here. That's why everyone threw chairs tonight instead of swinging at heads. That's why the doors were fake. That's why there were no weapons or glass. I get that we have some of the best crowds ever, but if GCW wants to return, you need to script matches better or focus more on the wrestling for just that show. The Briscoes, the Mox match, etc all suffered. Also, GCW is new to PPV so they need to plan their time better. That ending was rushed due to time. Hopefully it also means Dem Boys are coming to AEW! All around sloppy show tonight but it reminded me of the glory days of ECW.

there was barely legal 97 vibes, and overall it was fun, but there were certainly some glaring missteps as well

I really enjoyed it. Obviously some bad timing and a couple bad matches, but I still felt like I got my money's worth. Lots of fun moments, couple of really strong matches in there. I think Ruby looked better with Allie Katch than she has with anyone in aew yet. The six man Lucha match was so much fun.

I loved it, totally see where people are coming from with the messy element but it felt WILD kinda ECW Barely Legal vibes.
And thank GOD they had MDK close the show.

I started by watching Moxley vs Homicide and couldn't watch anything after that. I'm assuming they were both having an off night or something? Because that was awful and not even Moxley's return could make the crowd give a crap.

I’d recommend going back and watching the Lucha Six Man and Christian/Rush at least. Unless you don’t like spotfests |

Did anyone catch last night's show?
I heard that Dr Wagner & Psycho Clown had an altercation at the merch tables pre show.
Not sure if it's a work or not but their Hair Vs Mask match will be great.
