Just shows you have no idea what you’re talking about, only thing you remember about Luger is the 2-3 matches you seen on YouTube. Old school wrestling fans sure love to embellish the past, huh? And you kid’s like to loathe the past. Go get your Bayley and shush.

No one is denying that Brock and Austin are bigger stars than luger, luger IS a bigger star than Bray. Never once said Bray was the bigger star. Didn’t even mention Bray. As far as Bray though, if you can’t see why one of the highest merch sellers at the time of each of his figures being put into the lineups for this line is a better choice over Lex Luger in 2022, I don’t know what to tell you. Luger can just as easily be released in a Legends or Elite line. He isn’t an Ultimate must. Guys like Austin and Brock were. That was my point. Which none of us even know if he is still under contract considering he hasn’t had a figure in years. I understand where you're coming from, but being the gatekeeper of who should or shouldn't be in a line is laughable. This Bray has less deco, less accessories and a higher price tag. What should have been the ultimate was the burned fiend. Other than butterfly joints, this ultimate is worse than the previous. When doing multiples of the same guy, it should be continuous improvement. Not downgrade. Which is mostly a lot of people argument, not the fact he got another release.

I'm not a fan of The Fiend or really any of Bray's post-cult leader incarnations TBH. I am a fan of Lex Luger, who I do think is a vastly underappraciated performer at what he did. That being said, it makes total sense why the Fiend was pencilled into the Ultimate Line and why Lex likely wouldn't be (in the mainline. I could see him being an Amazon or Target exclusive). None of these opinions have to be mutually exclusive.

The only two attires I can think of that would work great for the Ultimate Edition figure would be the Summer Slam 1993 look which was a bit different than the red/white/blue attire he normally wore, or the narcissist look which had more frills than his usual attires, plus the figure could come with multiple tall mirrors.

They don't even have the class to look up Luger V Hogan on Nitro, let alone more obscure Luger/TP moments. Just some BABA BOOEY PRAGS trying to bury Wrestling History Haha! Yeah, the kid is just a hypocrite.

Someone in a thread not too long ago said he met Luger at a convention and said his relationship with WWE is great. He’s still signed to a legends contract. It’s really a matter of Mattel. I just wish they would hurry up and give us ponytailed Luger with his black trunks and white boots. We’ve been asking for this figure for years and it’d be unfortunate if something tragic happens like *usual* for Mattel taking their sweet time. I wouldn’t even mind if they just release this figure as a basic. I’ll just make my own Luger. Yeah, it seems strange that we haven't gotten a Luger in a while. He has a number of looks that would be perfect for the legends line figure that is also the chase. To me these are must haves:

Agreed. To me, the look that would be worth doing would be ponytail Wolfpac Lex with removable jeans and shirt and 97 black trunks underneath, and even that would be better suited to being an Elite IMO.

True. Though I think they could accomplish that in the elite line.

I might be in the minority, but I wish Lex could have his own torso. He had a such a unique physique. I kind of get tired of having Lashley, Goldberg, Triple H sport the same torso. I understand parts will have to be reused, but some characters are distinct.

Yeah, the kid is just a hypocrite. I’ve watched his a lot of his NWA work, his entire WWF run, and his WCW run. If you like him, cool. To me, he was mediocre as hell in two eras that surrounded him with much much better talent. “Bury wrestling history.” LOL

I take back what I said about fiend butterfly joints earlier.
Just saw the ringside unbox, the new fiend doesn't even have butterfly joints!
So, series 7 is superior all around!
