No desire to see him in a WrestleMania program whatsoever. Coming from a Shane O'Mac fan, it's bad enough when guys like Brock, Rock, Trips, etc... come back and take main spots, Shane doesn't add anything at his age to a storyline. Do you guys realize that Shane is about as old now as Vince was when he was getting his ass kicked by Austin, Triple H, Rock etc... in 2000?
The rumors swirling that he had supposed Mania programs booked with Lashley or Rollins are absurd. What do either of those guys gain by fighting Shane at Wrestlemania? Shane hasn't done anything to boost anyone (which is why he's there) since KO in 2017. His programs with Miz and Strowman were awful and his "Best in the World" thing didn't boost anyone other than him.

He's Sports Entertainment, baby! WOOOOO!

Those complaining that anyone under 6', 220 or a tongue-in-cheek joke gimmick ruins the legitimacy of pro wrestling but say nothing about Shane hanging tough with Taker in HIAC or AJ freaking Styles in a wrestling match because of his mastery of taebo have no grasp of reality.

Nothing ruins the legitimacy of pro wrestling because it’s pro wrestling. It’s all a joke. I’d love to see Shane McMahon vs Orange Cassidy personally.

ESPN airs poker and hot dog eating contests. So pro wrestling is definitely a real sport! Definitely not an athletic and physical stage show where everyone has a character and part they play. Any time anyone points out something in pro wrestling being unbelievable, I chuckle.

His matches are always entertaining so I like that he’s back.

They're going to have to replace the canvas with a chamois or a sponge seeing how much Shane sweats.

Another reason for me to not watch. I'd rather have Stephanie back

No,thank you. Shane in 2022 sounds awful to me but if he is gonna be around I hope its to at least give Theory a "big win" at Mania.

Good. I was glad when he came back in 2016, but by the time 2017 and that whole Styles "feud" rolled around, I was ready for him to off again.

Meltzer talked about it yesterday and it basically sounds like Shane made a giant ass of himself, he wanted to come in earlier and throw out a lot of guys. Wanted to have Rollins in the rumble to throw him out. There was a pitch for him to fight Lashley for the belt at mania and he wasn’t talking to guys the right way. A lot of heat in one night.

I'm sorry but its hilarious when the boss son gets fired. Just shows you how big of a train wreck the "insides" of that company are.

That must be a lot of pressure on Austin Theory, becoming Vince's favorite son while Shane and Hunter are left in the cold.

Shane going on an insane power trip and trying to book the entire company around himself and getting let go is probably the funniest thing that's happened in a while.

Sounded like it was his fault the Rumble was poor and he wanted it to be even worse. If that's the case, glad he's not sticking around although I wouldn't have been completely against a Mania match with Theory. He'd probably have booked himself to win anyway...
