Supposedly it was the chaos and unprofessionalism displayed backstage in front of Bad Bunny regarding the Rumble's layout changes. Hated that an outsider saw and was subjected to the amateur hour theatrics, rewrites, and politicking.

Oh look.
Shane got to go home.
You know, just like he wanted to.
As stated in the other thread, it would be the funniest thing in the world to me if Shane, seeing how fast Bray was let go over being unprofessional, realized that he would finally have an out and intentionally did just that so that he would be left alone forever.
I can't confirm it is true but at least he got what he wanted in the end. He's gone from the company and, more importantly, he's done with his family and their bullcrap and will never have to worry about pressure from them or anyone in the WWE Universe asking him about the company ever again. He finally got his wish.
That's all that really matters to me.

honestly, you just gotta laugh at this company at this point What are you laughing at in this story? One of the guys in charge of putting together the rumble acted like an Ahole and disrespected employees and was let go for it? I mean it seems like an appropriate handled decision out of the wwe this time

It seems like Shane is having a bit of a midlife crisis if he's having to book things around himself for his own benefit/ego. Good riddance.

So Shane wanted to do this and that in the Rumble (which would have sucked), his dad said NO and booked it himself (which sucked), Shane complains, his dad let's him go, and his dad still books everything (which sucks). Just another week in the WWE, folks.

Just another week in the WWE, folks. Also add in that the Rumble winner was only decided when Brock played politics and insisted he needed to come out of the event looking STRONG to sell his WM match. Nothing I've read coming out so far is anything I'd take to the bank.

Best In The World having his last match be in the Royal Rumble and complaining about his spot on the Wrestlemania card. You love the commitment to the gimmick.

That sucks. I do like Shane even though I had no interest in seeing him do another run.

We'll probably see Shane in a year or two. He will not be gone forever.

As funny as this story is, I’m sure it’s just a send home for Shane after pissing off the boys, writers, and producers. I’m sure we will see him back down the line.

I might as well change the title of the thread. I’m even hoping this is a joke or gets resolved quick cos I was looking forward to Shane at Elimination Chamber & WrestleMania ffs.
