I think they could get away with this one, that costume was very barebones and Rey added his own stuff to it to make it more appealing. I would not expect to ever see a Wrestlemania 27 Rey tho lol

The tone of red Rey used was more of purplish/burgundy color and there weren’t any real details on the attire minus the horns and bottom shape of the mask. Super easy, but I’m guessing that Mattel does not want to tamper too much with intellectual rights since they’re a big company. Bill said we’ll never get a Joker Rey because “it was a touchy subject”. I was watching some matches from the early 2000’s and would love a debut Rey. I didn’t even notice that his mask was slightly different around the nose area. |
