I'd rather have Thunderlips. In the flesh, beybeh.

This figure looks like Mattel’s take on the Jakks CS12 Hollywood Hogan. CS12 Hogan- Mixed feelings on this one. At first, I thought this looks awesome, and it's a figure I've wanted for years. I had the Jakks Classic Superstars version and loved it. But then you notice the bizarre decision to give him those kneepads! As soon as you look at it you know it's not right. And it looks like the same skinny/ripped torso again. I can't get my head around why they keep making these choices. Add to that, the tye die effect isn't the greatest. Jakks did it better 15 years ago. They did the same thing with the B/O Attitude Era Jericho. He should have had plain black knee pads not red barbed wire ones.

PJ, You just reminded me that Jakks weight belts were better too.

Is it really that hard to look at source material and reference photos? We let them get away with so many inaccuracies that are completely avoidable They changed the spray paint deco to match the exact paint of the nWo Elite version of the belt but can’t look at the new pads or shirt I think they were going for the tank top look, although the way it's cut makes it look more like a sleeveless shirt.

I think perhaps they used this as a reference shot for the kneepads...Only problem is he doesn't have any on.

It's a shame we won't be able to get him to actually hold the belt the way he does in that prototype shot.

This Hollywood looks great overall but certainly has some imperfections as mentioned earlier. I’m glad to see a non tear shirt but I’m guessing that there are no tears in the back. Can’t wait to order, brother!

Can’t wait to order, brother! It's probably just the same as the Legends Scott Hall shirt, which has a tear in the back.

Awesome looking figure. Would have been a great ultimate edition. Yeah, ideally this would have been an Ultimate with an extra head, additional white gloved hands, and a better torso...Could have made a great addition to the new Target UE line, but I guess they wanted to stick with Wolfpac figures being RSC exclusives, even though we still don't have a Lex Luger.

PJ, You just reminded me that Jakks weight belts were better too. Yeah I mentioned that in the official stickied post. I asked if it would have one even though Mattel’s lifting belts are lackluster at best. I think perhaps they used this as a reference shot for the kneepads...Only problem is he doesn't have any on. That’s also the tights they used. The tights aren’t the ones that WCWThunderRosa posted a couple posts up with the lightning effects on the sides.

He wore them at Uncensored and Spring Stampede in '99 (and I'm sure a few Nitros and Thunders).

After 10+ years with the line how has Mattel still not created a proper boot mold for guys like Hoagn? Kneepads are off too and sadly his torso is likely gonna be the Sheamus-one again.

It's a shame we won't be able to get him to actually hold the belt the way he does in that prototype shot. Clear hair ties my friend. Wrap them around the belt/hand or if wanting the belt to lay proper on the chest and you cannot tell they are there when displayed.

I just want a Terminator or Starrcade ‘97 Hulk. I believe Steve said the Terminator look was off the table due to copyright, but I could honestly see them using this top and just silver skull design on his boots. They can’t possibly get sued for using silver skulls with details. Agreed, the Starrcade 97 is the one I most want as well.

It's a shame we won't be able to get him to actually hold the belt the way he does in that prototype shot. I use retainer rubber bands that I got from my dentist a long time ago. They’re probably available on Amazon or somewhere

Not fan of the ''99 NWO Elite. However; I love this Hogan attire and look.
I have the Jakks variation somewhere! So i'll glady add this in!

Are we thinking the UE Hollywood Hogan heads will swap onto this one? And/or that the skin tones are the same? Mine is put away somewhere, so I'm not sure if they match.
(2) sweet figure either way.
