But then you notice the bizarre decision to give him those kneepads! As soon as you look at it you know it's not right. And it looks like the same skinny/ripped torso again. I can't get my head around why they keep making these choices. Add to that, the tye die effect isn't the greatest. Jakks did it better 15 years ago.

I wonder how hard it would be to swap this figure's boots and arms to the Ultimate Edition? That would fix my gripes with the skinny torso, and with the new bandana and shirt he will still look different enough next to the original UE.

Yeah I mentioned that in the official stickied post. I asked if it would have one even though Mattel’s lifting belts are lackluster at best. That’s also the tights they used. The tights aren’t the ones that WCWThunderRosa posted a couple posts up with the lightning effects on the sides. Yep. He wore them at Uncensored and Spring Stampede in '99 (and I'm sure a few Nitros and Thunders). I would have loved the red flame boots
