So say Vince McMahon had all of his past “faces of the company” at there peak kayfabe power-levels (only going back to the start of the Hulkamania era), and decides to book the following stars in an elimination battle royal (pinfalls and submissions only)….
- Hulk Hogan (1987) - The Macho Man (1988) - The Ultimate Warrior (1990) - Bret Hart (1994) - Diesel (1995) - HBK (1996) - Stone Cold (1998) - Triple H (2000) - The Rock (2001) - Kurt Angle (2003) - Brock Lesnar (2014) - John Cena (2007) - Roman Reigns (2021)
Who’s Vince booking to win this thing? You got Hogan, Diesel, Cena, and Reigns all receiving a similar “overcome all odds” push, while Hart and HBK were the scrappy smaller-guys. You also got “Suplex-City” Brock in the year he ended the streak and kicked Cena out of the main event. Throw in a 2000-heel HHH who will do anything to win, and the “Wrestling Machine” Kurt Angle, and Vince’s head may explode deciding who stands tall at the end.
My pick is Lesnar. Had he never left, I don’t believe Cena gets pushed to the level he did. As soon as Lesnar returned, Vince got back to pushing him to the front of the company as he had been doing when Lesnar left in 2004, and I’d argue nobody has had a stronger booked year than Lesnar in 2014. I could see Vince booking Lesnar to run through everyone honestly.

Hulk Hogan goes over them all.
Overall, when you look back at every WWF/WWE Champion, Hulk Hogan is the main guy! He was over from 1984 - 1992 so I would say he could be the one to beat all those superstars.

I'd probably have to go with Hogan as well, he was Vince's guy from the get go, and he has been looking to replace him ever since. Plus, he knows how to politic. If not him, I'd say Austin. Those were the two biggest stars Vince ever had.

Hogan was #2 in my mind. Would have been huge to have seen 1987 Hogan go against 2014 Brock. Hogan, post-beating Andre, against Brock, post-ending the streak and “killing” Cena, would have writing itself.

Hogan surprised you don't have HBK on here I did put 1996 HBK in this (between 1995 Diesel and 1998 Austin).

I would have Reign of Terror HHH as the face of the company 2003 over Kurt Angle.
