Looking back I think this match should have happened at WM24. This could have been similar to Rey vs Eddie at WM21 with two tag team partners facing off in a friendly/respectful bout.
Reys injury sucked hard man since he missed two WMs in a row ffs... WM23 & WM24 could have had some good Rey moments and the guy was really huge during that era.
We ended up getting Batista vs Umaga in a trash throwaway match lol but I think Batista vs Rey would have been 1000000X better hahaa.
Thoughts on this one?
