Anyone use eBay to sell anymore? I know people prefer to use Facebook groups if possible
I have MOC (well, the cards are worn) Michelle McCool and Melina Mattels that I wanted to offload, but eBay isn't helping with regards to sold listings, and on a lot of the Facebook groups they have strict rules that make it kinda hard to get help pricing stuff up
Was tempted to throw them on eBay (not sold there for several years) but I've heard horror stories in recent years about fees, holding your money for days and dodgy buyers

I sell on eBay occasionally - only when they have a reduced fee event which is around every other weekend. Pricing for me at least is down to what I'd let them go for at minimum as I always do auctions, so it varies. Payments aren't terrible, my payout is set daily so pretty much I get the money the day after the buyer is paid. Dodgy buyers I have had a couple times and it is very annoying but it comes with the territory.

I sell on eBay all of the time. I didn't even know people sold on Facebook. I've avoided that site for years.
I like eBay, but I'll only use them when they offer a deal on fees. "70% off Final Value fees" or "Max £1 Fees". I usually get something like this once a month, although I'm not sure if I only get them that frequently because I sell there regularly. I will also only send items out WITH tracking. Dodgy buyers exist and eBay always take the buyer's side, but having tracking that confirms I did send an item and it did arrive certainly helps stop people making fraudulent claims.

I use eBay primarily for selling stuff, but back in the day I did all my buying and selling on here. There's no movement on the UK Classifieds now, it's quite sad. I still do the odd deal on here, but most of my buys are on eBay.

I sell on eBay all the time also, you tend to get more morey for your stuff.
Too many time wasters on Facebook groups I found so don't bother with them at all now.

Have done recently selling stuff to make room for new stuff. Undercut the scalplers and youll sell stuff easily. Certain figures just wont sell though I have found, as nobody wants them. You could porbably ask for about 40 quid each with worn carding. I hardly ever see either persons figures being sold even in better nick so.

I sell on ebay quite a bit.
Fees are annoying but you can wait for discounted listing days that pop up every few weeks over the weekend. They don't hold your money for days (mine gets sent to my account next day after payment). Just be vigilant and send anything with a tracking number/signature.

I find ebay great, as others have said wait for the reduced seller fees offers. A number of 80% fees offers have already popped up in February.
The sad fact is a lot of the issues with horror stories about buyers is the wrestling figure fans wanting something for nothing and trying to pull fast ones, this is tempered by scalpers wanting way over the odds for what are ultimately over priced pieces of plastic.
When selling be as honest as possible about the condition of the figure, packaging etc and take as many as photos as possible (normally 12) for the listing. You see so many crap listings that just use a stock photo and a few words to describe the item. And I doubly recommend @warriah's advice on tracking the parcels you send, then if any issues arise you have the proof on your side. My feedback is currently at 1500+ with no negatives as I have always been as honest and descriptive as possible with my auctions. The minimal percentage of schisters have been shut down quickly with ebays blessing when Royal Mail confirm that they got the package they claim they never did.

Agree on the UK Classifieds - I was a member here many, many moons ago (during the original Jakks CS run) and used to make deals all the time. Was basically the reason I signed back up but came to find it was a dead zone now

I sold a lot of figs on ebay before Christmas. Just took all my photos and had them ready to go, then when a reduced fee offer came I listed them all pretty quickly. I think it was 80% off seller's fees. It makes a big difference, because when they charge full rates you lose a fair chunk of coin.
I too miss the UK Classifieds from back in the day. I remember doing a deal on theee with a guy who gave me a bunch of stuff for free, including Shad and JTG elites that were worth about £30!

This, I take loads of pictures so people can see that what the pictures show is what you well get, sent well wrapped in loads of bubble wrap in a appropriate sized box, i give proof of postage by uploaing picture of post office receipt too when I've sent the item.

A week ago, I had to change the checking account associated with my ebay account because my bank got bought out by another bank. ebay said they were going to make 2 micro-deposits to verify my account which they notified me on Wednesday. I still havent received those deposits yet. Has anybody else here ever encountered this problem?
