Pre-Golden: Bruno Golden 84-91: Hogan New Gen 92-94: Bret Hart New Gen 95-97: Shawn Michaels Attitude 97-99: Stone Cold Attitude 00-02: The Rock Ruthless Agression 02-04: Brock Ruthless Agression 05-08: Cena PG Era 08-11: Cena "Reality" 11-13: Punk "Reality" 14-15: Bryan Modern: 16-Present: Reigns
Should go without that there's obviously a lot of crossover here across years and "eras" are indeterminate.

There was a year or so within the Attitude Era where Rock absolutely took over, because Austin was out with his neck injury.

Don't really have anything to add to the above so I tried something different. WWWF Era: Fabulous Moolah Rock N' Wrestling Era: Wendi Richter New Generation Era: Alundra Blayze Attitude Era: Sable Ruthless Aggression Era: Trish Stratus PG Era: Beth Phoenix Reality Era: AJ Lee (R)Evolution Era: Becky Lynch Nice idea! Think you nailed it too! 👍

As everyone has said already
Bruno Hulk Bret Austin Cena Reigns
I genuinely don't see how anyone could argue with this as the "Big Six"
That said, for Women, it gets more complicated because, yes, Moolah would be in there, but we are never getting a Moolah figure again. Also, there is the fact that both Lita and Trish sort of co-reigned for the late attitude era into much of the RA era while Sable represents everything that was wrong with the diva's division. So, if I had to choose a "Big Six" of women's figures to actually have...
Miss Elizabeth Chyna Trish Stratus Lita Beth Phoenix Becky Lynch
(Yes, I'm aware that Liz was never a wrestler but I don't think you could ever make a "Big Six" list for women without her she's literally the "First Lady of Wrestling".)

Some are debatable in that it depends what the term “the face” implies. For example, WWF definitely pushed Diesel as the face of the company from Late 94-95 and HBK as the face of the company from 96-late 97, but the fans always seemed to gravitate to Bret. That said though, Rock was 100% the guy from 2000-2002. Him overtaking Austin was even the kayfabe basis of their 2001 feud.

There can be multiple faces throughout the era but only 1 that embodies the entire one. For example HBK and Diesel were faces of the company for a period of time throughout New Gen but Bret is definitely the guy who stands out above everyone as the face of that entire era.

Agree completely. Each era has a few names but if you only have to pick one, it’s pretty easy. Bruno Hulk Bret Stone Cold Cena Reigns WWE had too many ‘era’s’ around the Cena time. In time, people will forget about PG/Reality and remember it just as Cena’s era before the Roman Empire begins. And to answer op question, yeah those 6 would be perfect for Elite 100.

I would put Triple H and his reign of terror as the Ruthless Agression and Cena as the PG era
