Cesaro has left wwe does that mean his figurecould be canceled as it's not to be released til May. Thoughts ?

I'm hoping we still get it, and i think we will.
If they didn't pull the Elite 92 Adam Cole, especially after he'd been in AEW for a few months, i doubt they'll pull Cesaro.
Same with all the Bray Wyatt, and other released talent's figures. But, you never know.

Elite 93 is the next set in production right now, it’s too late to cut it

Doubt they’ll cancel it. Fiend/Cole left in like July/August and their E92 figures came in January to RSC but haven’t even hit stores yet and probably won’t until at least Spring.
Now if he would have left on bad terms, then WWE may have requested them to cancel it, but he just let his contract expire so I don’t believe there’s any worries.

I think we'll get the Cesaro still, but do you guys think E93 will be shipping before May?
I find it kind of odd that there's such a large gap between that and E92, but I know they were pumping them out during the holidays.

Can we stop with these threads? There are FAR FAR FAR more cases of the figure coming out than not. As long as they signed a merch contract, WWE has the right to put the figure out whenever they want. Period. Contracts trump "OMG he's on another tv show now!". Can we even count on one hand the figures that DID NOT come out?

The way I was explained it, a merchandise contract is different than a wrestling contract. A merchandise contract will state something like: while employed with WWE we have the right to use your likeness how we see fit, which can include the production of action figures. So ... they begin working on a Cesaro figure (which by all accounts takes months to do). His wrestling contract expires. He moves on. However, his figure has already been greenlighted and it was done so during the merchandise contract. So even if THAT expired the same time as his wrestling contract, as long as they started production during it, they can release it. Had it never gone into production? Yeah, they might have to scrap it. Or, like with KENTA, red tape with NJPW. But for Cesaro, they started the process under contract so they have rights to finish and release the merchandise.
