If you are going for only one figure ever, the first Ultimate Edition does it for me. That's the only Cena I will ever need, honestly.
But as for most iconic look, I'd probably have to agree with one of his skittles looks. I'd either go with the orange or green myself, probably orange. The guy spends an alarming amount of time looking like a walking road sign, I'd go for something that immortalized that.

I think if you want just one definitive Cena figure, you have to have one with the blue jorts. So... either Elite 7 (orange shirt) or the first UE figure ("Hustle Loyalty Respect" shirt).

For a standard figure with no customisation, the Ultimate Edition 10 in my definitive John Cena. Other than that, out of the ones pictured above, i've always loved the 'Rise Above Hate' look with the Black shirt/Camo shorts. As for my personal definitive Cena, this fixup using a bunch of different Cena's to make his late 2006 - early 2007 look. The Green shorts, Black/White bands, White shoes, and this shirt is how i liked Cena best.  plz drop some more pics of that shelf It's the Raw shelf from my 2006-2007 Ruthless Aggression Collection. I'd say either 2011 attire: the red or the Rise Above Hate gear.

Dude. Where did you find those Benoits? Any chance he makes a 2000/2001 version with the slashes on the tights? They were all commissioned through ShowstopperCustomFigs, as well as the Jericho on the Raw shelf. He'd surely be able to do any attire Benoit wore. Here's a look at the Benoit, and that Jericho both on the Raw shelf.  |

It is absolutely crazy how most fans have a different answer on this. I'd say either 2011 attire: the red or the Rise Above Hate gear. I guess cuz there really isn’t a definitive Cena. His career has spanned 20 years now and he constantly changed up his look. Theres debut Cena with the biker shorts that matched the towns. There’s heel Thuganomics who wore jerseys of the city’s sports rival. There’s the face version of that who wore that city’s sports jersey. Theres Chain Gang followed by retro attire. Then there’s Cena who wore a different Fruity Pebble shirt every 3-4 months for like the last 10 years. |

I’d say green. He seems to have had a lot of green shirts over the last decade, including most of his time since he started reducing his wrestling schedule.

Orange is my favorite because I don't think they did yellow in Elite, just Basic. I like the colors and reminds me of the fruity pebbles.
