Hey Guys, I probably read 500 threads here but only posted a couple. I am a avid figure belt collector. I have been collecting for about 15 years and own maybe the largest assembled collection on earth it consist of 399 different belts (except doubles for tag team pairs). I am currently going though a rough time in life and may need to sell it. I am trying to avoid this but it may be possible. Just asking if there is any good place other than eBay you sell a collection like this.

Toy show, wrestling convention or craigslist.
If you get 50 non-spam posts, you'll be able to access the classified section. You might try your luck there as well.

eBay and here is the only place I know. I will say though, it’s easier/faster to sell through eBay than it is here. However, fees etc are a drag. I also hate going to the post office in my area. Probably some of the rudest people I’ve encountered anywhere. You don’t even get a response back to “Good morning” or “How are you?” One of the employees has something to say every single time I go.

The only problem with selling high end items on eBay is the damn cut they take. If it's a £15 figure and they take a couple quid of off you, it's annoying. If it's a £500 belt and they take like £50, that. I couldn't sell my Classic stuff on eBay at any point in my life as the damn cut they take keeps going up every freaking 6 months. I'd say scour Facebook to find groups that you can sell in, or as suggested you could reach out to a store and see if they'd be interested in buying a bulk collection. Save you a lot of hassle.

I am sure eBay is the best option. However, you can look for sites on the internet and then check reviews on PissedConsumer. It will help you to choose the best and most reliable option. Besides, thanks to this website, I avoid many scams. Nowadays the internet is full of scams so be attentive.

I don't know if Etsy is the best place to sell a collection. You can try OfferUp. Craigslist is a shady place

This didn’t age well for me. USPS finally lost a package I sent out. $200 to be exact. Crazy how eBay doesn’t have any solutions to sellers. We’re just expected to take the loss and call it a day. The best part is USPS is no help either and their garbage service is to no use. How does a package go from out to delivery for two weeks? I miss PayPal being affiliated with eBay. There’s literally no help on their website either other than opening a case which puts two people against each other. After I get rid of my most of my stuff I’m done with them. Anyways, OP good luck selling your collection.
