I work 2nd shift so many a time I stroll by my local Wal Mart to pick up a thing or two before I head home. I've found that the best way to find figures at Wal Mart is opening the boxes on the pallets they put out. I've only been yelled at once but I think that was because I was just leaving the opened boxes on the floor so since then I've tried to stack the open boxes back on the pallet the best I could. I've found Sergeant Slaughter and Big Boss Man that way. Any of you guys find any legends or exclusives by opening the boxes yourself?? It's sorta like Christmas every week lol

If you are not a Walmart employee, you should not be opening the boxes. Their security has roughed up customers for smaller infractions.

I got my friend a Gorilla Monsoon that way, and Roderick Strong for myself from the same case.

No I don’t just go and mess up their pallets. there’s usually an employee working there so I’ll ask them to open a case or ask if they mind me opening one and I”ve never had an issue.

As I continue my exclusive quest to find a Hollywood Hulk Hogan in the wild I had an unfortunate experience. I was at a near by Target when I saw one of their workers putting out merchandise in the toy dept. I took a chance and asked the guy if the Mattel boxes on his cart had any Ultimate Hollywood Hogan figures. The guy turned around and said " look, I'm tired of hearing about this Hollywood Hogan toy, if it's not on the shelf we don't have it". I was stunned at his rude response but having worked retail myself in the past just chalked it up to him having a bad day. Anywho, any of you guys had similar experiences asking retail employees about their stock?

I used to years ago. That’s how I got my Sherri.
I don’t even bother searching for figures in stores anymore though.

then i accidentally tripped and knocked over 20 boxes of jakks ufc figures, leaving 2 unopened wwe mattel boxes at the bottom. i figured i might as well look to see whats inside them now that they're within reach. what do i find? the holy grail... wyatt family daniel bryan. the broken ribs were totally worth it

I worked at Walmart for 9 years. I used to work the early shift so I was able to get the figures that I wanted that were put out by the overnight crew. I never ever resold a figure that I bought at Walmart.

Occasionally when I am at Buddy's Toy Shop, I spot his amazon delivery boxes and tear them open. Last week I was surprised to find Amazon Exclusive Hulk Hogans. Dozens of them. Luckily the daily bidding war for another Hulk elite broke out which distracted Buddy. He forgot to mark up the price three times per his usual and sold me those Hogans at cost. I cant wait to customize one into wrestlemania 8 Hogan.

As long as I didn't have to cut plastic if the pallet was wrapped up, I'd definitely open them

Walmarts lucky I don’t have a box cutter, vest, and price gun. I’ll dig through those like someone is stuck on the bottom of the pallet.
