Remember when the Legends line started and Mattel picked different (obscure) looks for the figures and people were like, "Just do what Jakks did!" and now with Sherri they do what Jakks did and people are like, "Do something different!"  On a side note, do you think the folks at Mattel feel dejected after the internet rips the new reveals to shreds? Or are they just used to it now?  I mean, I try to stay positive but botching match-specific attires is still mind-boggling to me. |

I think they probably more so get annoyed because they hear the same complaints and get asked the same questions over and over again. As long as the figures sell I think that’s what matters most to them. If I worked for Mattel I’d personally just make figures I’d want for my collection. Everyone here would hate me. I know 99% of the people here don’t care about them, but I actually like the Basics, mostly because my nephew is a fan, and the stuff that we see as a plus like extra hands drives the kid up a tree because they’re falling out or getting lost, he just wants to have them beat the snot out of each other. When I showed him Roman could spear a guy off the bookcase onto my dresser through several tables, it was a big day. But Sheamus survived every time. I’m pretty sure I could drive over a Basic with my car and the only damage would be paint. There’s not really any floppy joint issues. The only thing he doesn’t like is that not everyone gets made. I try to explain things about paint apps costing more and that’s why Demon Finn doesn’t get made, and he has no time for it even though it’s accurate. So their audience isn’t going to be on this board, but they do exist. I only mention it since people often ask, “Why do these even exist?”

All of those are awesome, but nWo Booker T is a weird choice. And that’s coming from a big Booker T fan and one of the few fans of 2002 nWo. I actually bought 2 nWo X-Pacs. They already did a normal RA Booker in the WrestleMania line so makes sense to do nWo. Yeah, but WWE nWo still still feels like Attitude Era to me. A pre-King Booker figure seems more line appropriate. |

Basic:
I'll grab the basic of LeRae and her chase to go into the Gargano's collection.
Tamina Basic looks decent.
I'll grab Hurt Business Cedric as it looks like he probably won't be getting an Elite anytime soon.
Elites:
Elite 94 MSK, MACE, Edge, Stephanie, and Hart (The one with Black pants/Pink top). No interest in Bulldog, looks alright tho.
Elite 95 Cena, Big E, Lashley, and especially Shotzi look great. Eddie's attire looks good, but IDK what's going on with the hair. I see what they were going for, but it just didn't come out right IMO.
RA 2 looks great. I'll just be grabbing RVD and Rey. I'm satisfied with my WM19 Booker.
Summerslam Wave looks great. I'll grab the whole set, but will probably sell Sherri.
RS Exclusive Grimes looks awesome! Been a fan of Grimes since his Trevor Lee days, so it's awesome seeing him get a figure.
Not a new reveal, but I'll pass on RS Exclusive Hogan. Not an attire I really care for.
IDK what series the Legends are on, but I'll get Mighty Molly for sure, along with that Rey and the Acolytes. Hopefully we get a JBL next.
I'll grab the whole Top Picks 2023 set because the Orton, Cena, Mysterio look good and I just broke my Elie 89 McIntyre's leg off the other day:(
Ultimates:
Was super bummed because I thought the NWO Macho was the one with the New Gen ring, but luckily not! Look great, definetly gonna be grabbing that one, along with the Batista before it. Hope this are plentiful in stores as the past few waves have been.
Now that I see the Hogan in box, I may have to get it. It looks great.
FINALLY! An Ultimate Roman Reigns. Looks good so far. Hope he comes with one more head with his hair down normally.
All the Amazon Fan Takeover Ultimates look good, too bad they're a bitch and a half to get. If I can even order them, I'll get HBK and Goldberg. I've had Triple H on order since August and I've lost hope at this point.

I'm really digging these reveals.
Looking at definitely getting the Cameron Grimes and MSK. I want that Cena too, it looks great. The Eddie Guerrero is a bit weird but I'll see how it looks when it comes out and decide. A lot of good Rey Mysterio figures but I'm really interested in the Summerslam one as well as that Shawn Michaels. Acolytes seem weird and the Ruthless Aggression figures look great.

Considering the recent standard of Basics (Edge, Braun, Ember Moon - I'm looking at y'all), that Tamina is fantastic. I don't evne buy current talent but that one is tempting at a $10 price point. Love the colors and the design work.

-I like that they did a Los Guerreros Eddie. That shade of green is off, so I'll be getting the black/purple. I hope they can make a matching Chavo (from SVS 2002) one day.   -WHY do they keep giving pre-2007 return HBK a beard? He never had a beard during this time period...Just ruins two potentially great figures. -nWo Booker T is an awesome surprise! Was not expecting that...Hope we can get a Shawn to match. Shame that it's too late to get a matching Big Show as well. -Both Mollys look killer, although if I'm nitpicking, that top should be more silver than blueish. I'm guessing this is a Luger type situation where both come with the cape and both heads? -One Night Stand Rey is another surprise...Looks great, although I can't help but think that this one should have went into the Ruthless line, and a 1995/6 Rey should have been chosen for the Legends series. -I love that they're doing the Acolytes, but my god...Why that torso for Bradshaw? And why oh why have they gone back to that skin tone for Faarooq? They fixed it for the HOC Ron Simmons, but went back to it for this. What could possibly be the reason for this choice? And what's with his neck? -UE Reigns looks cool, although I'm hoping he comes with either one more head or the gold gauntlet as well. -The RAW is WAR stage is obviously impressive, but I wish they would have went with the earlier version of the stage, to avoid having that WWE logo so prominent. |

Few things I'm not happy about but it is what it is. This isn't a perfect hobby no matter how much we want it to be.

This is one of the few reveals that have actually excited me in the last 3 years. There’s a lot of great stuff, some needs to be fixed. Overall, good showing.
Does anyone have clear shots of that Ultimate Goldberg? For whatever reason there’s no closeups of it.
