http://instagr.am/p/CbxpuJouw0B Seems like every Hogan basic is getting the old articulation. I wonder if that's just because of who he is, or because they're still burning through molds they had ready in 2015? Is it me or does Andre look like The dad from the Goldbergs?

I get you but for so long basics kept the pace and arguably always had the better attires. It’s only been a few years since basics went down the pan. Whoever is in charge of them now has no clue. I fully realise I’m fighting a losing battle but I can’t afford twice the price for one fig. SDCC is my last chance, nothing there and I’m giving up 100% and will sell off most of my collection save for some special figs to me. Not to be mean but are there any Basics really worth anything? I mostly see them purchased by children or as parts fodder for customs. All the Ultimate Warrior Basics are really good. Most of Savage’s too. The Hart Foundation and Road Warriors both in their blue attires are also very good figures.

..same here. No one likes a complainer but the elite reveals for golden age new Gen are really disappointing. Ftitl figures. Almost non-existent. If you’re only focusing on elite, maybe, but they did show Hogan/Andre 2 pack, Superstars wave 3 with Taker, Mankind, and DiBiase, retros wave 2 and 3 of Hart, Bret, Anvil, Tugboat, Nikolai, plus elites of Sherri and Bret. Yeah my thoughts are about elites only. Haven't bought into the superstars line yet and the retros are a minor thing for me. I just want an oh my God elite release from that era. No mega powers. No surprises like Haku or Steiners or brother love. Meh meh meh. Sorry.

Were there only three Hulkster figures shown? The Ultimate 13 WrestleMania I Hogan, the NWO Wolfpack Hogan, and the Basic Hulk vs Andre? Thanks! Wasnt a new reveal but nWo Hogan from the Superstars line was also on display.

Have they said if there are going to be more figures revealed over the weekend, or is this it? There are a few great ones here, but as someone who really only collects Golden Age and New Generation era figures, it's a tad disappointing. Yeah they’ve gone hard with attitude and RA for sure. Only 1 new reveal for Golden Era/New Gen. Bret and Bulldog don’t count. This is probably how the RA fans have felt for a while though!

Guess there’s a rumor going around that Bill confirmed with someone at the show that Strongbow has been discontinued.

Speaking of Basics. I might stick with the SummerSlam Heritage Randy Orton. It's one of the best Basics they've ever made and the color on the trunks is way better. Man.. didn't realize the color was that off from the Instagram photos on this new one. Really a bummer.

color of orton's trunks is way off No surprise there. They are always off with shades of orange. And shades of Ron Simmons.

color of orton's trunks is way off Yeah I’m excited for this figure, but I noticed this right away too. Way too orange. They were more of a peach/salmon pink hybrid. Hope they change this shouldn’t be too hard but who knows.

All of those are awesome, but nWo Booker T is a weird choice. And that’s coming from a big Booker T fan and one of the few fans of 2002 nWo. I actually bought 2 nWo X-Pacs.

Macho also stuck his tongue out. It’s a very common look for him and makes a good extra head as a display choice option Not while in nWo as far as I can see, and it's certainly not a look I associate with him. Plus, it has black hair so isn't accurate for use on an early Macho figure. I would have liked "too sweet" hands or pointing finger rather than those jazz hands again, but that's just a personal preference. The shirts still look like trash and the molded Savage shirt looks better. I think they were specifically channeling Halloween Havoc 96, which is at least closer to the NWO.
