I’ve been wanting the Acolytes forever. Now we just need a Mideon. I would have preferred chase versions of the Acolytes in their APA wrestling gear, but that probably isn’t possible to make 2 chase figures without it being a nightmare logistically. Not sure if it means much, but i seen a pic of Phineas/Henry today in the ring with the rest of the big wigs when Undertakers statue was revealed. Seems to be like they’ve been on good terms with wwe here of late. Maybe they’ll work then into the line soon.

Without making new parts, Hogan body (with smaller arms) is the way to go with Bradshaw. Good to hear Faarooq’s skintone will be corrected. Hope it’s Rock/Roman skintone and not that dead one the WCW figure had. Love that they included the robe with One Night Stand Rey. Too bad they cheaped out on the silver for Molly’s chase That’s the same torso I want Hogan/Kane torso. If they had a smaller version of the Lesnar torso, that could work too. I’d honestly take the Austin torso with ripped arms over the torso they chose.

Bradshaw is WAY too skinny/ripped wtf? and what's up with Faarooq's neck? also where the hell is that Rey from?
i mean, im gonna get all 3 of those but if this is the final product....these are kinda weak choices. Rey has 50 elites, he doesn't really need to be in the Legends line Rey's from One Night Stand 2006

Grabbing Rey for my ECW 06/07 shelf. Definitely a surprise reveal for me, wouldn't have expected this attire before a lot of his other Flashback attires.
I really want to add a Farooq to the collection, but i'm holding out for an APA Wrestling attire Farooq. If they fix the Giraffe neck, and his skin tone, i might grab this one and just remove the chest logo's.

I'm stoked about these. The Acolytes with ministry Taker, Brood E&C and Viscera will look sick for pic photography and on shelf, molly deserves this and I like the chase to go with hurricane and that rey attire is one I'm here for. Great line up. Ready to see what continues. Plus we get Ms Hancock and Lex Luger Wolfpac in the one prior to this...they are killing it. Anyone who says otherwise just wants nonstop Cena and Reigns figures

Mattel, I'm beggin' ya, please look at Mr. Bradshaw's torso at like any point of his career. I'm very delighted to see the Ministry/Jackyl era Acolytes, it has been a long time coming, but the parts are not right on these. Skinny legs and shredded torsos aren't reflective of these two bulky ass kickers. And Faarooq's head and skin tone ain't great, but I hear the skin will be corrected, so that's good to hear. The Rey is cool (I totally forgot he brought back the tights once for the WWECW PPV), and I'm very happy to see Molly. The bellybutton being very visibly on Mighty Molly is distracting. I love her cape and overall look, though. I guess that means standard Holly Cousin Molly will come with a cape, too? We really need a Hardcore and especially a Crash to go with her! Crash Holly was one of the most popular guys of the AE, and he's been so overlooked ever since. I'm glad we got one of the three Hollys now.

I only collect WWF from 1985 to 1992, so this makes three Legends series in a row that are a complete whiff for me. At least I can pick up Sherri, Davey Boy and both Brets.

Yes Rey Mysterio in the legends line! - No one ever. Not good. I guess maybe I’ll buy Molly. I guess I missed the memo where Rey freakin' Mysterio isn't a legend.

He's definitely a bona-fide legend...personally I don't like the attire though...I feel like "Legends" should be reserved for anything pre-2000...maybe I'm just getting old...oldER

When the Jakks classics line started they made figures of guys from 8 years before the line started.

I think this set is great, I don't get the hate towards it. I've always wanted a Mighty Molly so that's really cool they're doing one. Acolytes in wrestling gear is something that's been missing for a while so that's another great add. Rey's an odd choice to use his One Night Stand 2006 gear as it's not one of his most iconic, but I still really like it since it's coming with the jacket and title.
I think this line up is pretty good.

That is true, I guess I only want stuff from when I still watched: pre 2000 and briefly in 2002...so maybe I'm not getting old, im just selfish

That’s your prerogative obviously. The SS92 is a much more iconic, and frankly better representation of her time with Shawn. I couldn’t care less that Jakks made it 15 years ago, the same way that I didn’t complain in 2007 that Jakks was making a grey gloves Undertaker when Hasbro had made one 15 years earlier. We can respectfully agree to disagree on this one. I just don't see what's wrong with hitting up some new, fresh outfits BEFORE rehashing previous incarnations. Steve has admitted multiple times that certain design choices are made deliberately as homages or throwbacks to Hasbro and Jakks pieces, and perhaps that's what happened here. I'm all for this iconic outfit being released, but it's a shame that it may come at the expense of many other iconic looks that haven't been released in any form. With Sherri appearing in high profile roles at SummerSlam 89, 90, 91 and 92, it's a shame that we started with a recreation, that's all I'm saying. Your problem is that it's not a "recreation". Jakks and Mattel are 2 different companies making wrestling toys literal decades apart.

I’m with you, I’m begging Mattel to take my money but there isn’t anything outside of Sherri that interests me in the least since Legends 12. How about a new Mr Perfect or Honky Tonk man Mattel It’s been a while.

Royal Rumble 2002 Mr perfect or black white bash at the beach vs Goldberg look would be cool.

lol they re-used that crappy farooq scan. and the new JBL head is as huge as the last one . smh. just when i thought they may have an actual head scale correction .. the head sizes need a serious actual ruler to make sure these come out in scale.
these are all a pass for me.

I don't really remember the APA wearing the tights that Faarooq has on him. That must have been before I was paying attention to them. I remember the tights Bradshaw is wearing, though.
Personally, I'd be waiting it out for a 2000 onwards APA ring gear set, but I do like the two Molly figures. If I could only have one, I'd go for Mighty Molly, but both look great.

The googling I've done since finding this thread leads me to believe that they did indeed wear both tights designs, however, they also always wore matching tights. I'm open to correction.
