Why is there no love for the Acolytes? I've been wanting these in this gear forever! I'm sure alot of people have, but sounds like everyone is crapping on them...what gives??

I think it's because of Simmon's head sculpt and the part choices for the figures. It's cool that they are being made, but it looks like little effort was put into making them. |

If they put desirable looks of top names in the line, then you're going to have a bunch of complaints that they made X super popular figure and not all collectors can get it. I think that's why we're seeing things like Mean Mark, a third release of purple Taker, and final Raw Warrior in this line over new looks. Not saying I'm a fan of it, but they probably prefer those guys in higher production lines since they're guaranteed sellers. But they sure are taking their sweet ole time with Hogans. |

I'm with you dude, I've been wanting them forever too, but the part choices are awful. They're apparently fixing Farooqs skin tone which is great but it doesn't address the torsos man, APA where on that diet of beer and steak, boys where thick as hell. These figures are ripped like they cutting weight for a UFC weigh in, its mad. Lazy work from the design team again, they can afford a unique sculpt for randoms like Dakota Kai and the Goon but when it comes to the Acolytes, its save money and reuse "recipes" from other figures. Bill released elite 23 JBL 9 years ago, everyone said the torso was trash back then, all these years later he's reusing the same formula. It disapointing. |

Iâve wanted the Acolytes/APA in ring gear forever. We finally get them and look far too small. Looks like Iâll have to buy another warlord and swap legs and head for Bradshaw and I donât know what to do for Simmons.

I donât get it. I mean, itâs the Acolytes, itâs Molly Holly with a Mighty Molly chase and a decent Rey that I may like more one I can connect him to an event (sorry, dunno the gear), why are people complaining?
I buy to hold memories in my hands, my childhood, my early 20s in this case and just things that make me happy. Makes me sad that the line doesnât have the same value for some.

Bradshaw torso aside, Iâll be buying this whole set. Rey is getting a ton of figures at the moment, just wish they were some of his older WCW attires, especially in the legends line.

One of the best sets they've done for Legends imo. Need all 4. I somehow missed that Rey when the photos went up but it's must have for me. Mighty Molly and the Acolytes were definitely high on my list of things Mattel can make.
