This is crazy but I would LOVE a Historic First Champions collection. The set would contain the first title holder as well as the opponent they fought for the title. Each would be a box set with a 7 inch figure scale title belt based on the belt's first appearance (or the oldest one they can legally use). The opponents would be posed in the catch wrestling style stance in a window box facing each other. I'm talking OG mainstream titles only so the big three. Going to leave the Jr. Heavyweight and any new fangled titles out like the European Title and Hardcore Title because I think that would be trying too hard to go after different markets. I'm thinking Elites would be sufficient for a set like this.
WWWF World Championship
Buddy Rogers v. Antonino Rocca (1963 fictional tournament in Rio de Janeiro)
WWF Intercontinental Championship
Pat Patterson v. Ted Dibiase (1979)
WWWF Tag Team Championship
Luke Graham and Tarzan Tyler v. Dick the Bruiser and the Sheik
While I would love a Fabulous Moolah v. Wendi Richter or Bette Boucher, it seems to still be up in the air whether or not Moolah will ever get a figure so I'm going to leave this one out.
*Edit* Oops, I forgot my stretch goal. The Grand Wizard manager figure for Pat Patterson.

If we were doing wishlists I would absolutely want the Wrestlemania 9 arena set up. The aesthetic of that show is so unique and awesome looking. Give us ultimates of Yokozuna and Bret to sell it. Expand with Gonzalez and Taker, or Perfect and Luger. Give us Macho Man in his commentary gear as the early bird special.  |

If they were to do a WM9 entrance/ring set for Mattel Creations, I would do: 1st Tier: The entrance set, ring skirts, updated turnbuckles and ropes, the giant covering over the ring, and an Ultimate Edition Undertaker with cart and vulture. 2nd Tier: Ultimate Edition Lex Luger with the mirrors. 3rd Tier: Some more ring skirts for the new generation ring, maybe some of the early WWF Monday Night Raw ring skirts. And an Ultimate Edition Figure of someone we would never get otherwise, maybe Giant Gonzalez, or Kona Crush (would go great with the UE Doink figure). Early Bird Special: Macho Man with sedan, and ringside table & monitors. |

I think Kona Crush and Giant Gonzalez would be pretty essential to a Wrestlemania 9 set. It can be argued Mr. Fuji as well as he played a key role in the turning point of the main event.
And even though it had nothing to do with the actual match at 9, Crush should come with a "Doink arm" weapon and a sling.

I think that Luger should get an UE figure, I'd go with SSL93: new head sculpt with shorter hair (one pre-match, one post-match), new arm mold with the with piece "protecting" his injured arm, multiple hands, and the white "USA" jacket he always wore |

Ohh wow I didnβt even think about WM 9! We 1000% need a Cesarβs palace play set!!!! I know it might seem a little childish, but it almost seems like a set that could be collapsable and fold up. Like, you can fold it in and latch it and it can have a handle on top. Sort of like one of those 90s carrying cases they made for figures for all sorts of different toy lines. Then you could pack all the extras inside, and the outside of the box could have some really cool art. |
