This is crazy but I would LOVE a Historic First Champions collection. The set would contain the first title holder as well as the opponent they fought for the title. Each would be a box set with a 7 inch figure scale title belt based on the belt's first appearance (or the oldest one they can legally use). The opponents would be posed in the catch wrestling style stance in a window box facing each other. I'm talking OG mainstream titles only so the big three. Going to leave the Jr. Heavyweight and any new fangled titles out like the European Title and Hardcore Title because I think that would be trying too hard to go after different markets. I'm thinking Elites would be sufficient for a set like this. WWWF World Championship Buddy Rogers v. Antonino Rocca (1963 fictional tournament in Rio de Janeiro) WWF Intercontinental Championship Pat Patterson v. Ted Dibiase (1979) WWWF Tag Team Championship Luke Graham and Tarzan Tyler v. Dick the Bruiser and the Sheik While I would love a Fabulous Moolah v. Wendi Richter or Bette Boucher, it seems to still be up in the air whether or not Moolah will ever get a figure so I'm going to leave this one out. *Edit* Oops, I forgot my stretch goal. The Grand Wizard manager figure for Pat Patterson. I think they're gonna try to make something to sell. I love these really dry, sarcastic responses. haha. |

I'm surprised people are bothered about interview stages/sets, considering you could buy printouts of them or such.
I feel like some of the stuff suggested here is very one-off specific that wouldn't get a lot of people's interest. HBK/Jannety and a barbershop window set up, for example, wouldn't really appeal to a whole heap of people. Whereas what they did (The new gen stage/ring) captures a lot more people's interest as it's not as specific as a single moment in time. This is why I reckon they're gonna do something show-specific (RAW Titantron for example) as it would have been the same for a few years and and therefore became more known to a wider range of people who would want it for various reasons.
Based on what they've already done, I'm taking a guess and thinking they might do the RAW stage that's just the three letters R, A and W. It'd be easier to display, recognisable to people, and has the same kind of broad, mass-appeal. I wouldn't buy it, personally, but I can see why it'd be an idea from Mattel.

Same thing as before, have the entrance, the large covering over the ring, and ring skirts. A lot of options for the Ultimate Edition Figures: LOD with gold spikes, 1992 era Undertaker, Macho Man and Warrior, Ric Flair in purple, Executive Consultant Mr. Perfect, Rick Martel in pink with the cloth tennis outfit, Nailz, and Money Inc. We already have elites of HBK, Kamala, Ultimate Warrior, Natural Disasters, Papa Shango from this event. Plus Bret and Bulldog coming soon. |

New account 14 hours ago...if this set you off already, BUCKLE UP. Obviously a joke...I don't think the OP truly believes Mattel is going to produce a Tarzan Tyler figure from 1960. I still think a 97/98-era Nitro stage is the smart option. Stage with jeans and tee DDP as the first figure, Bischoff (if they really do have the rights) as the Macho equivalent early bird, a different Hollywood Hogan as stretch goal 1, and Nitro ring skirts/bucks/posts etc. for the ring as stretch goal 2.

I think backstage would be interesting
It was a huge part of the attitude era / Monday night wars - from bret and sting having a backstage match to all the computer games which had parts backstage etc
It also gives creative license to make something which is inspired by, but doesnβt have to be identical to something on screen
