Found several Batistas, not able to purchase any, contacted Mattel, they said to call Target, called Target corporate, they have no idea what’s going on. Mattel guys that hit up the threads, what is up?

I've had this problem before with buying a WWE figure at Target. The figure is not in the system and sometimes they will sell it to you and sometimes not.

For some reason it is street dated for September, that is the issue. One would imagine it will get corrected soon.

That’s because you are working for the company, not a customer. You know how screwed up retailers inventories get without people doing this. I’ve seen many stores scan a similar item or a different size if something doesn’t have a tag. |

If its a target employee doing it, then its not? Or only if they get permission would it be ok? If its for a personal collection is ok or if they are flipping it on ebay is it not? Just trying to figure out where the moral and ethical line is here lol To be fair if an employee overides it for you, fine you have a paper trail showing that. Just taking it upon your self to overide their system regardless of whos fault or mistake it is, completely different. |

The lengths people go to to get these things is equal parts hilarious and disturbing. If I walk into a place and they don't have something I want, I don't get it. If something I want is there but they won't sell it to me for whatever reason, I dont get it. Talking to employees, opening boxes on pallets, street dates, whinging about this and that, bidding wars breaking out in the aisles, dcpis, brickseeks, truck-driving uncles, calling Mattel and/or Target corporate, etc. I NEED IT NOW! I NEED TO HAVE IT FIRST! ME ME ME I WANT!! I would hate to see what happens when its something someone NEEDS.

This is why I disagree with scanning another figure just to take Batista, because it will mess up the counts and potentially cause some Targets to not get more in. But some are calling it theft, so that’s what I’m talking about. I don’t call it theft because precious Target is still getting their $30+ regardless |
