I like that PowerTown reissued series 1 after the leg issue, it made me regret not getting Bruiser Brody. When the figures were first snapping, I was glad I didn't place an order. But, they did right by their customers and that made me comfortable to place an order.
I pre ordered TNA's Jordynne Grace & Moose. I still don't like how Jordynne has the mattel basic style of arms, where as all the male figures have the arms with additional articulation. I didn't think Jordynne would ever end up in WWE, but now I kinda jokingly wonder if we'll get the PowerTown TNA figues before we get a Mattel Elite version of Jordynee Grace. (Yes, she isn't signed with WWE, so I assume the fastest we could get one would be 2 years out)
I think they should do a more official update for everyone.

No idea why your first Galoob announcement would be MLW when you have a bunch of legends It feels like a slap in the face and a bad PR move. If anything, you would soften the blow by making both announcements at the same time. The only way this makes sense is if there is bad news for the other releases. Like get some exciting news out there and then make the announcement about delays later on. If you did it the other way around, you might have a lot of people making negative comments (more than the ones I’m already seeing). I think it will all work out but I’m nervous for them. Chinese New Year is approaching as are port strikes and fair chance of other geopolitical disruptions. It’s always better to see a company come out fighting instead of going on a losing streak. If they get delayed until late Spring, customers are not going to be thrilled. The preorder model is such a double edged sword. |

the diversification this early in their life makes no sense! Legend Ultras, REMCOs, TNA, MLW... and all we got in-hand are the Legends series 1 ultras? c'mon PowerTown what are you doing?!

Too many announcements without anything concrete, and the long period of silence keeps growing. I am only a Legends Ultra guy so far. I don't care about TNA or now MLW. I don't collect anything outside of the realistic scale, so while I appreciate that the Remcos have their fans - it is just not my style. So really I am only in for the Legends, which was, you know, the ORIGINAL INTENT of the entire company. |

Yeah, I mean I can totally understand branching out and a deal with a well known wrestling company is a big deal, but there's a saying of having too many irons in the fire. One cannot live on niche legends alone, but get a consistent product under your belt first. |

They updated. Plus theyre offering a free figure (with free shipping) from wave 1 to all who ordered. 2 free figures for those who ordered the entire respective waves. The delays suck for sure but, thats awfully nice of them to do that. Also progress pics are upcoming at some point.

For customers who are waiting on pre-orders, Powertown is giving a free series 1 figure (or 2 free figures if you ordered a full bundle). That is a nice gesture. I was able to get the Diamond Collection Kerry for free.
