Glad I put my order in for Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, Kerry Von Erich and Magnum TA.... if these are as good as the promotional material we are seeing from PowerTown suggest they might be...then good luck to anyone trying to buy these at a later date! Can't wait to see who may be revealed in Series 2!

SMH @ people (unintentionally or not) creating panic to get in before the preorder closes. They will be available at highspots later on. Maybe at a little bit higher price, maybe not. And I wouldnt be surprised if one or two other etailers end up carrying these eventually.

I bought the whole first wave. I'm hoping for even more NWA, AWA, WCCW, and forgotten wrestlers.

After last night's Tales of the Territories episode about the AWA, I am hoping that when they make a Mad Dog Vachon figure, it comes with a garbage bag.

Well if you want 'em, you want 'em. I also don't understand the point in "wait and see" if you already want these and have the funds to buy them now. There's just the same amount (if not more people) trying to convince people not to get swept up in FOMO and to wait and see. If you can't deal with not being able to get these at all later (which would be the worst case scenario), then buy them now. Otherwise, if these don't hold any value to you, don't buy them. I've come to realize that it's actually only mild regret I feel when buying something I really really wanted only to find it for cheaper later. I always have huge biting regrets when I miss out on something and find it later at a much higher price point or in the case of Strongbow, unable to buy it at all.

There's plenty of disgruntled posts in other threads here that pretty much advocates for the 'wait and see' approach. With instances like figures arriving late or not at all and the final products not living up to expectations. Primarily from companies with little to no track record like Powertown. But regardless the company themselves have confirmed these WILL be available elsewhere so not really seeing the reason for the mad dash to preorder before the window closes. Anyway, like my other post just commenting on people seemingly unable to show restraint in face of the facts and not so much trying to convince anyone of anything. If things go smoothly with this wave I will probably be pre ordering a few from wave 2 myself.

Well like you said, the company has no track record so there's really no guarantee that these will be available at Highspots or where ever later. These might do so poorly that just the first batch get shipped out. Who knows? Maybe these will be worth 20 bucks on the secondary market. Maybe they'll show up at a liquidation place for $5. For those who absolutely do not want to miss out, I say go for it if you can afford it. Don't skip the rent or mortgage for it. Buy responsibly of course. If you can afford to wait and see and it's not a big deal if you miss out entirely then by all means. This is also by no means some tactic to scare people into FOMOing in. There's ALWAYS a chance that things won't go as planned. I sleep better knowing that I secured a wave.

There's ALWAYS a chance that things won't go as planned. I sleep better knowing that I secured a wave. Largely agreed with everything you said. The same basic rules always apply, imo, whether you're buying from a major company or a startup. Buy only what you can afford, always use multiple layers of fraud protection (ie credit card linked to Paypal), be ready to receive the product well after the promised release date, buy items you actually want to own, and assume that the second you buy it the resale value becomes zero. I do think this is a company that has at least some track record compared to others that have popped up recently. Steve has decades in the business, and I don't think it's a stretch to think they're better positioned than others to deliver as advertised. And as a small batch, made to order product, I don't think we'll be seeing these at 5 Below or Ollie's. But quality is anyone's guess. Super 7 has a great track record and there were things falling apart out of the box on the NJPW figures. And purchase has some element of unknown to it.

I feel, personally, that this company went to great lengths to cross all the t’s and dot all the i’s before putting anything out there. I like that. There have been some hiccups. They had the lineup change. Things happen. But throughout it all it’s been a very professional experience. You’re going to have hyperbole, they’re selling a product. But I feel they’ve more been letting the images speak for themselves and I think that their belief is that once the first set is in-hand, that will only further word of mouth for some really high-demand wrestlers like The R&Rs, The Russians, etc. That will also widen the door for the lesser names that are most wanted for collectors like me. You’ll have the ones who need to “Collect em all” and others who are just so pleased with the initial product that they decide to add whatever comes along.

Agree with everything above. I love the look of the figures. My only fear at this point is paint durability as some of those third party figures used a paint that pretty much had the same durability as what a customizer had access to. I'm willing to cast the dice and hope that paint durability concerns get back to the ones in charge at Powertown and they ensure that these hold up to light play, the odd fall from a shelf and storage. Resale value is not important to me as I bought these to keep for my own enjoyment.

A WWWF IC era (late 70s/early 80s) Ken Patera would be cool.

I am curious if they would ever make rings from the old territories. Maybe make a ring with a generic mat, but then maybe sell corresponding mats separately, like for the AWA or WCCW, etc.

Can't wait to see what's next in this line...

I'm still on the fence about these. I just don't know how I can justify spending $233 CAD on 3 figures.

Had a big payday today, with a ton of overtime, so used the discount and ordered the full bundle. That gives me all 6 figures, plus my initial order of Brody, Hansen, and Kerry, to keep in package. Hoping that we hear some more news soon.
