Seeing Mangum's Mattel next to it, makes the lack of wrist tape stand out. The render had it, and I wonder if possibly the first run had it. QC needs to improve.

I haven't received my shipping notice for Brody yet but if they decided to hold it until Kerry comes in stock I'm totally fine with it. These seem great, but I'm not in a rush to get them.

I think I might put some Mattel boots on the Brody and then getting some fur boot covers to make him shorter.

These figures have me watching some old, old wrestling and a lot of these guys were more toyetic than I think most people realize. I really want a Don Leo Jonathan and a Yukon Eric.

I also tried putting the Magnum Mattel boots on the PT and it wasn't perfect but still works pretty well. So I think you could do that with Brody. Might take a slight bit of manipulating the peg hole though.

Another interview with Greg, he mentions they'll do the mini figures as a way to get everyone out there

As others have said, they are heavier than Mattel and Jazwares. I like that. But as you can see in the photos, while not taller per se, they are bulkier than Mattel and Jazwares (both side to side and front to back). But heck, most of us complain that Mattel makes guys too skinny. FYI ... Magnum's PowerTown boots will fit on the Mattel! I didn't try any other swapping.
These are the best wrestling figures I have ever seen better than the Storm Collectibles. From a new company too. I can’t believe they are priced the way they are.

They look good for an indie company's first wave. Too bad they're not in scale with Mattel though

Yep. Sadly, PT got it right. This is what Mattel should have looked like from day one. Oh well. Stick legs, pinheads, and emaciated torsos are king I guess. Though I hadn't looked at my Mattel Magnum in ages ... the thighs are actually great! And they are trying. Hammer Valentine for example. Getting corrected thighs for his next one.

If you didn’t know who made what you’d assume the powertown were made from a big toy company
They look like adult collectibles v toys which is really what they are. For all the talk of some mattel lines being collectors they are still toys manufactured as much for play and durability as they are for display.
The power town feel much more like they’re adult focused for display
The power town definitely look like £60 quality figures imo v the £30 mattel
Has anyone from uk ordered or is there a uk distribution site?

Wrestling Trader are the distributor in the UK but the pre order has ended. They may have some for direct sale when they land over here

All of these companies will be selling figures after the fact. They all just want you to bite on fomo and crowd fund them. You really think once they pay for the molds theyll leave money on the table. Preordering is utter nonsense at this point. Let me know when you have them available and ill buy.

They have said from the start that they are going to be more than just action figures, and the goal is to help all these old-timer wrestlers with financial help as much as they can, and I think shirts would be a big help with that. Hopefully this is a positive thing and helps everyone involved in making this company successful.

Oh yeah, I know but they’re more agency now. Funny that early on Steve mentioned Surge licensing was involved, (early TMNT marketer) but that’s obviously gone by the wayside.
