The likeness on young Thesz is pretty excellent. Imo, the best of the bunch-he even has cauliflower ears.
It's even more impressive when you consider that out of the entire wave he's most likely the one guy with the least amount of reference material for them to work from.
Hopefully, for future waves (or even a wave 1 reissue) these guys can get access to digital face printing tech.

Most Mattel bodies are definitely too small/narrow. These look better.

Real excited to get my hands on Magnum! Should look good next to ultimate flair too.

I am wondering if they are fulfilling complete set orders first?
Either way, pretty darn slow.

There appears to be no rhyme or reason to their shipping. People who ordered on the reopening days are getting theirs while many of us who ordered day one still have no notice.

Shipping must be random. I ordered in December about an hour before they closed the window and my Brody shipped Friday.

Unfortunately all we get from our distribution partner is exactly what you get, a notification of shipping. We do know that they’re shipping daily, and expect more tracking information tomorrow, but we have no way of knowing what is being filled before it shows up in the system.

Thank you for your patience and support. So based on this, it sounds like reaching out to support is virtually worthless. I had two orders, one during the first order period (#1281) and the second either at the end of the first preorder period or another time when they popped back up (#2812). One order was for 4 figures, and the second order was for the whole set. So based on my numbers, I am estimating a minimum of 3,000 total orders. So now it gets down to how they have this set up and are shipping out figures. I mean do they have 5 sections of a warehouse set up, one for cases of each individual figure, and have one or two people running between the 5 sections getting figures, bringing them to a central location, and packing them up and labeling them? I have never worked in a warehouse situation, but I have been in a figure warehouse a few times and that seemed to be how that company worked, which can be a bit time consuming. Ideally if they can 200 orders out in a day, then within 2 weeks 3000 orders would be going out, but again, that is total guesswork on my end. For those that have received theirs already, I would be curious at how professional the box looked. |
