Wasn't series 2 supposed to like come out in Aug or Sept ? Or is it a pre order then in 2024 Aug it arrives ?

Just going by memory, but in the semi-recent Stephen Rosenthal interview he stated that they planned to have Series 2 out before the end of the year, and that they figured that they could get 3 series out in a year on a regular basis. Just my opinion or guess, but with the first series, it was a bit of an unknown, so they kind of kept us in the loop as we went along - announcing the names, showing the first renders, all up until the preorders went live. So my hope is that we will see Series 2 just get announced soon (let's guess August 1 for a round number). Then maybe August 15 they go up for preorder for a month, and then (possibly) they get in our hands before Christmas, pending no issues with legs breaking and such. |

I can't remember the timing of what was said when. But I wonder if the remake of S1 set the timeline back at all. They got the leg issue resolved incredibly fast, and it seems like a very small team working on this line. It's possible that the S1 remake was all hands on deck for a few weeks and pushes back the window for the second series. |

I finally got my set of series 1 figures. They'd been sitting at my office for about a month now while I'd been working from home, and thus unable to get to the office to get them due to various circumstances.
They really are fantastic looking figures. I haven't opened any of them up yet, but I just can't stop staring at them. The packaging is superb, and I'm considering keeping at least the informational flap after I open them.
I'm looking forward to seeing who is in series 2, and I'm planning to get the Cardona and Myers figures too.

They will have ultras, remco, one offs ie. major pod, etc. I guess we can wait til more is released before splitting off threads. |

I'm very tempted to dive on on the MWFP set. In generally, I do regret not picking anyone from series 1 (even hough there was no one I really wanted for my collection) just because they cam out so well. Will probably depend on how long this preorder is open for.

I didn't want these but the price still completely ridiculous for international buyers. Was hoping maybe it would get a bit better for the next series but this doesn't get my hopes up. Happy to support these companies but not when it comes to almost paying the product price in shipping, which will then have import fees added onto it (at least here in Europe).

I decided to pull the trigger on the set. I've been listening to the podcast for like five years and the only thing I've ever bought is the $4.99 Patreon one month because it saved me $15 on Zombie figures. So I look at this as a way to support them and get two incredible looking figures in the process. If I could pick one Cardona, I'd prefer it be Indy God Matt, but because this represents the NWA Title period, I consider it the best consolation scenario. I also think the set makes more sense to have a Power Ranger and Indiana Jones theme together, but maybe they'll do that one down the road and I can swap it out.
