He did wear white quite a bit before the WWF. Though I can't be sure that it's a real attire he ever wore. Also, not sure about the boots. Did he ever wear lightning bolts on his boots. I remember plain white boots and plain white boots with "Kerry" written on them. thanks. I knew of these white outfits but couldnt pin point the gear the fig is in. I love how it looks but if its a fantasy gear its a bit odd choice to do. Seems like they are doing everything in their power to sell off overstock of series one. Makes me wonder if they decided to rebrand leftovers into the diamond collection into fantasy white outfits lollI was thinking the same thing. Not a bad idea, but like you, I wish it were a more common attire he wore. I think his NWA Title win over Flair at the David Von Erich Memorial Show would have been a better choice. Adding the NWA title would have been a great bonus. EDIT: Also, I found a picture of him wearing the white boots with lightning bolts. Though, the lightning bolt symbol is solid blue instead of outlined.

Here is a picture of him in what appears to be an all-white attire (trunks, kneepads, boots and jacket). Can't tell if the boots or the jacket are the exact same as the figure though.

According to Myers on the MajorPod a while ago (and granted I know not the most reliable source, but he pretty much engineered this deal apparently, so I trust he has some insight) a lot of the mid-2000s TNA contracts had some kind of perpetuity licensing provisions and that's how they were able to stuff like Abyss and Roode Brawlers despite them both working for WWE at the time. Now whether that kind of stuff could apply tp the Powertown figures or be legally challenged or etc. I have no idea. But if they have access to any of those names, it could be interesting. That doesn’t seem legal? Maybe it is if the wrestlers still get the same residuals they would have when they worked there? Yeah I mean pretty much anything can be legally binding as long as the contract is written in an ironclad way and both parties sign off of their own free will. That's a big issue in the music industry - the contracts are pretty much rock solid and and given the artists almost no rights. For as meme-y as lolTNA was, Panda Energy was running the legal side and I wouldn't be surprised if those contracts are solid. The performers certainly get some kind of merch cut - it just means that the company can continue using their likeness. I think some movie merch contracts are written similarly - Marvel probably has the ability to keep making Captain America merch long beyond the length of Chris Evans' last movie with them. Anyway, as someone who has been a TNA fan and is excited to see them potentially increase spending next year, a figure line is appealing. The PowerTown figures are really good for a small company, though I wish the scale was a tad smaller. Not getting my hopes up, but I'll be keeping an eye on what they show off.

As one of the few whose interests overlap with both wrestling's past and present, I'm really excited for the TNA line. I preordered two of the Chella figures and was disappointed when plans for that line fell through. It feels right that the #3 promotion has a toy deal again. I don't see why a TNA line should necessarily conflict with the Ultras. It only diversifies PowerTown's customer base.
There are so many current TNA talents I would love to see made: PCO, Motor City Machine Guns, Violent By Design, Gail Kim, Joe Hendry, Josh Alexander, Rosemary, etc.

In return sales and said growth will increase other suppliers to take on merchandise to sell and keep the business healthy. How do you know whether or not they have taken on more staff or a new team to focus just on the tna line? None of us know the facts unless powertown chooses to tell us.

The fact that we can look forward to potentially getting legacy championships of TNA past championships got me even more excited for this line! Would love to get a set of the first versions on the TNA titles and the second iteration of the world title design.

Sorry if I’ve missed this elsewhere in the thread but does anyone have any pictures of powertowns next to Mattel elites for comparison of scale? Understand the powertowns are slightly taller? But do they still look ok displayed together?

I would think the broken leg snafu set them back much farther than simply making a deal with TNA lol. The fact that they have slowed down isn't an indication that they've "taken on more than they can handle", it indicates the foresight to slow down so they can handle it instead of pushing onward and putting up pre sales or showing things that the customer won't get until years later like others do. If they "couldn't handle it" then you'd end up like all those poor saps still waiting for their Sabu figure, so until that happens I'd say they are handling just fine.

This is an obvious cash grab to capitalize on The Iron Claw coming out. If you have Legends 6 Texas Tornado, Kerry Von Erich and Kevin Von Erich available to sell, you won't need a job for 2024.

Are people still trying to make this joke? Yawn. I'll be ordering one for sure, the belt alone for your Lawler fig = worth it IMO.
