Thats ok i guess. Tna doesn't have many on their current roster people will be willing to throw down powertown money for tho. And it obviously slows down whatever else theyre up to with the giant roster of old timers

Man, wish they’d do 6 inch scale rather than 7 inch. Oh well, that counts me out.

The TNA news is awesome, Moose with a nice soft goods robe would be killer and any MCMG retro or current is welcomed. Low key hoping they use their rights to the NWA belts and do something like an AMW throw back with the good NWA tag titles or maybe even a Rhino with NWA title.

Seems to have been something Myers spearheaded like we talked about pages ago. Could be really cool, especially if those tan legacy contracts or whatever legally hold up. Either way, I hope one of the first tings they do is highly detailed MCMG.

Just coming here to report it, as I saw this article: www.pwinsider.com/article/178427/tna-announces-action-figure-deal.html?p=1I will give my opinion - and overall I think this kind of sucks. My fear is that there is not enough of a market for TNA wrestlers for this to work. And I don't think Powertown isn't big enough to run multiple lines at the same time, so my big fear is that the 'classic' wrestlers we have been getting in Ultras is going to be less and less. Going back to last Summer, there was talk that there would be 2-3 waves of Ultras a year. My fear is that now there will be one wave of Ultras, and 2 waves of TNA figures, and that is going to hurt the company. I hope I am wrong, but I just don't see excitement on here for figures of Moose, Jonathan Gresham, PCO and the rest as we would for Ivan & Nikita Koloff, Nick Bockwinkel, and Gorgeous George. It feels overall that the roster of TNA is made up of those that could not make it in the WWE or AEW. That doesn't mean that they are bad in any way, it just feels like the leftovers. I just don't see it working in my opinion - but I hope I am wrong.

If Powertown feels like they can be successful with a TNA line, good for them, but I feel like this is taking on too much, and will just slow down the other lines. Personally, I don’t even watch current wrestling, so I’m only into the legends.

This is interesting news. I hope it doesn't take away resources from PowerTown's original goals and ideas.
It does seem like they are trying to do a lot of stuff all at once. Ultras Series 2 was just announced, REMCO's line-up just announced, now TNA figures going up for sale in March. I hope it all works out. I really want them to succeed and produce lots of great wrestling figures.

I just don't see it working in my opinion - but I hope I am wrong. Funny to think that considering most of the roster (especially the Knockouts) have said they've received offers from AEW and turned them down. Most notably Josh Alexander having a meeting with Khan and declining after he couldn't tell Josh what plans he had for him after his debut. Moose had a WWE offer in 2020 and chose to stay aswell.

Powertown needs to build their portfolio and grow, especially if they ever want to get retail space or other online suppliers. They need to show proven brand/licenses and sales. I wish nothing but the best for them as we need more choices especially at retailers. I also think this a great opportunity to throw one or two legends figs into a line to balance out waves.

Interesting, I hadn't heard that. Maybe part of it with me is that I just didn't get into TNA at all. I am currently 52 (just shy of 53) and my wrestling viewing history starts with the AWA in the late 70s, early 80s. Bockwinkel, Hogan, Jerry Blackwell, Sheik Andnan El-Kaissie, Mad Dog Vachon, etc is what started me as a wrestling fan. My main influence though was the TBS Crockett shows from the mid-80s. Flair and the Horsemen at their peak, Dusty Rhodes, Magnum TA, the Koloffs, Midnight Express, Rock N Roll Express, Road Warriors, etc. All time favorites. I dabbled in the WWF back then, but didn't get into it as much as the NWA stuff. But my 17-23 year old me strayed and didn't get back into it until WCW in the mid-90s, about a year before the nWo happened - then I was pulled right back into it. I didn't watch WWF even during the Attitude Era until Benoit/Guerrero jumped over - the writing was starting to be on the wall where WCW was concerned. The 2000s then the WWF was the only thing in town - I tried the different eras of TNA/Impact, but none of it stuck for me personally. AEW has come along and I really enjoyed it at first, but the roster just got H U G E and they don't seem to have any long term storyline plans in place, so it just kind of fizzled on me. I did watch TNA for a bit, starting when Omega won the AEW title and did that crossover with Don Callis and the TNA group, and the Good Brothers were also bouncing between shows, but again, TNA just never stuck with me. I just couldn't get into it - and that is my personal preference. To be clear, I am not knocking it at all, but it just never appealed to me. I am happy for the fans and that those wresters will be getting figures now, I just personally will not be getting them. My main fear like a few others have posted on here, is that it will cut into the resources for the classic wrestlers. Now, if they are able to double the staff, double the factories, etc, and produce the same amount of classic wrestling lines along with the TNA line, then cool. By all means, if this helps Powertown, then cool. I just fear that they are going to be spreading themselves too thin.

There’s so much potential with a TNA line if they go into the history of the company, if they could get Kurt Angle to be the next legend to switch to non-exclusive contracts they’d have a license to print money

Now whether that kind of stuff could apply tp the Powertown figures or be legally challenged or etc. I have no idea. But if they have access to any of those names, it could be interesting.

I am excited for this news and glad that TNA can finally get figures of their wrestlers again. I do wish they can add more articulation to the TNA figures so they can be up to date with the rest of the modern roster from other wrestling figure lines. Also wish the titles straps would have the same setup as the Mattels championship. Other than that I am excited for this!

That doesn’t seem legal? Maybe it is if the wrestlers still get the same residuals they would have when they worked there?

That price point is pretty high at $55. Looks cool, that’s just too much especially with the holidays here. Seems like something you should release next year.

Though I can't be sure that it's a real attire he ever wore. Also, not sure about the boots. Did he ever wear lightning bolts on his boots. I remember plain white boots and plain white boots with "Kerry" written on them.

I love how it looks but if its a fantasy gear its a bit odd choice to do. Seems like they are doing everything in their power to sell off overstock of series one. Makes me wonder if they decided to rebrand leftovers into the diamond collection into fantasy white outfits loll
