So its a fairly huge agreement here that Bam Bam should never have been turned face in 1995 and been established as an opponent for Diesel. I would leave his early 1995 the same except I would have had him do double duty & given him a strong showing in the RR.
LT feud is the same...it was good for him & the WWF....leave him off the next Raw after WM11 because there was enough going on with the HBK turn etc. Have Bam Bam return & absolutely murder some jobber then cut a promo that hes gonna show people that is he isnt somebody to be laughed at because he lost to a football player etc etc.
The next week he comes out and kills another jobber but continues to whoop on the guy & Duke Droese makes the save.
IYH 1: Bam Bam beats Duke Droese in pretty convincing fashion.
Bam Bam announces that the WWF title will be his and the KOTR is the next step to that...so at this point you just give Bam Bam Mabels route to the KOTR except you dont have him beat Undertaker en route to the crown. He destroys Adam Bomb, 123 kid then gets a bye to the final because of the HBK vs Kama draw where he beats Savio Vega.
On the Raw after this Bam Bam goes over Aldo Montoya and gives him a proper beatdown, Lex Luger to the rescue and you start a build towards IYH 2. In this space you feed Bam Bam , Bob Holly & the 123 Kid again but then give him a competitive Main event against the British Bulldog too where he goes over.
Bam Bam goes over Lex at IYH 2 & the road to Summerslam begins in earnest.
The Raw after there is showdown between Bam Bam & Diesel which ends in a "pier 6" brawl. the next week as Diesel main events Raw against whoever Bam Bam interferes and lays a fair beating on Nash. the week after as Bam Bam main events Raw against Razor, Diesel interferes and the whole thing ends in a Brawl again.
Final Raw before Summerslam sees HBK/Diesel vs whoever & Bam Bam comes through the crowd and attacks HBK at ringside. Nash & Bammer brawl but with help from the MDC Bam Bam gets the upper hand and leaves Diesel laying going into the PPV.
Summerslam 95: Diesel retains against Bam Bam but its damn close.
The next night on Raw BB demands a rematch but Bret Hart interrupts to say hes had his shot and its time for someone else to have a turn....you then build to Bret vs Bam Bam @ IYH 3 0for the #1 contenders position.
Hart wins and we continue as seen... & Bam Bam enters a program with Razor over their unresolved issues due to beatings on Vega and the Raw ME that Diesel interrupted.

I'd go much the same route. I'd keep everything at the beginning of 1995 the same, up thru WM11. Then I'd give Bam Bam a few weeks off, this gives the WWF time to do the Sid/HBK attack and build to Diesel/Sid for the next two PPVs. During this time, have some of the babyfaces, like HBK/Razor/Diesel/Kid, making fun that Bam Bam lost to a football player. A few weeks after HBK gets attacked by Sid, then you bring Bam Bam Back, gets a quick win over one of the lower-level guys. Let him cut a promo saying that he's going to show people that what happened at WM11 was a fluke, and he's going to prove it by winning the WWF title.
Week after week, let Bam Bam beat/destroy lower-level guys on RAW, while HBK/Razor/Diesel/Kid/etc. continue to make snide remarks on commentary and in interviews. Then when HBK is giving an interview, or going to the ring to have a match, have Bam Bam attack HBK and just destroy him. Diesel and Razor will come down to make the save, kicking off a feud between Bam Bam and the Kliq members.
Then you put Bam Bam in Mabel's spot, have him win the KOTR tournament. I would have him go over either Razor or HBK in the finals, this would give him a big win leading up to Diesel. Winning the KOTR tournament gives him the #1 contenders match at Summer Slam. I would have Diesel retain the title here, maybe by count-out, Bam Bam gets the win but not the belt. This sets up a second match at the following IYH, here Diesel can get his win back, ending the feud. After that, Diesel works with Davey Boy (recently turned heel), and then Bret Hart at Survivor Series.
For Bam Bam, he could work a program with HBK, with Shawn getting a win - which would be payback for Bam Bam's attack on him earlier in the year. This also gives HBK a big win on his way to the title at WM12. Unfortunately, I don't see a long run at the top for Bam Bam. By mid-year, everything the WWF was doing was pushing HBK to the title. I wouldn't mind seeing Bam Bam feud with the Undertaker at the end of the year, leading into 1996.

You laid this out pretty much perfectly ☺️
I think him going against Diesel would have been fun, baby-face Bam Bam with his weird little jig and fireworks shooting out of his jacket was super dumb to me. Before that I bought him as a tough guy badass, but after that I never thought he was going to win any big matches.
Him and Bret had fantastic chemistry so I would have been all for him and Bret having a run to see who would be the number one contender.
I want to add that I saw him wrestle Bret Hart at a house show in Glasgow in 1993 and he put in just as much effort as he did his TV and PPV matches which has always been something I thought was cool.

Also 45 is way to young for a guy to pass away, especially when he has kids.

That sounds great and all, but don't forget, you have HBK, Diesel and Razor in Vince's ear here too. The reason why Bigelow got turned face is probably because it gave Diesel one less credible heel to challenge him.
The fact Bigelow got a title shot with Diesel on Raw is lucky. I am sure that was his gift for jobbing to LT at Mania.
In a perfect world that lay out that you wrote is great. But with the Kliq in Vince's ears, I doubt it could have even been possible.

I think Vince was trying to recreate the magic of Wrestlemania with Wrestlemania 11
A lot of similarities I find.
An IC Title match that ends with a DQ Heels winning the tag Titles from the good guys A big match between giants with Undertaker vs. Bundy A celebrity in the main event getting the win over the established wrestler with Pat Patterson as the referee
Wrestlemania 1 and 11 have the same blue print pretty much

I also felt LT did pretty good in the match considering it was his one and only time in the ring.

He should have been in jail many time during and after his playing career, but was constantly given breaks. And last I heard the Apple hadn’t fallen far from the tree as his son was in prison. |

Really?! I had no clue about any of that. I didn't really follow football then, but I knew of LT because he was one of the many that was well known for football players. I didn't know his kid was bad too with things. That is pretty crazy though!

I'm not here to defend his personal life, but if we're just talking about WrestleMania XI, LT versus Bam Bam was one of the best matches on the card. People complain about that event being so awful which it was, but not because of that match. I know a big babyface run was included in the package for losing to a football player, but Vince should have realized how low he was on main event heels at the time. Shawn was their #1 and it has been proven that Vince immediately pulled the trigger on a Shawn face turn following the reaction he got during his match with Diesel. Bam Bam needed to stay heel. He would have had significantly better matches against Diesel compared to the likes of Sid and Mabel even on his worst day. |

The way the WWE portrayed it was like everyone in the USA loved LT and the rest of the world should too. Reading about the garbage stuff he has done was pretty shocking. |
