This is a spin-off of two different threads but worth discussing on its own.
Let’s say the Raw is War stage is set at $449 with a goal of 12,000 backers needed. What figures, accessories, or features do you think they would need to make this happen?

Ultimate version of this right here. Stone Cold with soft goods camo attire over molded jorts body. Also include the rattlesnake arms shirt. Try to get the gun but at the very least the Bang 3:16 flag that you can add to a gun from a different toy line.  |

If the base set is the main stage and camera towers: If we were to include a figure like the New Gen arena's Diesel, throw in Mr. McMahon as a little tip of the hat to the original Jakks TTL stage which also came with Vince. You could include the RAW letters to convert the stage into Old School Raw for modern collectors. A UE Mankind would be a killer add-on. highly requested look, integral to the Attitude Era
I could see a ring conversion pack to make the Raw Is War ring with just the ropes, ting posts, pads, ring aprons

A stretch goal could be an extra set of girders and the side trons to convert it to the 2000-2001 version. I really like the idea of adding a Vince as a throwback to the TTL line. Maybe even have the suit the same color. They could also do an older Finkel or either try and license a referee. If not Earl then maybe Teddy Long or Tim White

Stretch or early bird could be a commentary set with Lawler in the jacket with the frilly shoulder pads. Maybe a three in one with swappable arms for two different colored jackets and wrestling attire.  |

Tier 1 would be vince, tier 2 - Austin, tier 3 Austins quad then as a sweetener ring mat posts buckles and skirts

If it's gonna be that high 449.99 I would need to see 3 top tier ultimates

Or some 1st in line guy.
Announcer figure would not justify that.

I’d do:
Stage, Vince, and ring conversion kit as the main campaign
Austin in camo and/or jorts as an early bird
Stretch 1 commentary set with Lawler 1 jacket and swappable plain arms
Stretch 2 swappable arms and jacket for Lawler
Stretch 3 a couple AE PPV skirts (Royal Rumble, Backlash, No Mercy, etc)
Stretch 4 Rock in track suit and Brahma bull belt

I'd rather have a ring with a HIAC than the stage as I feel I can make my own. But if it is just a stage I'd like the 2001 style conversion kit. Ultimate Vince in a grey suit.

I think Mattel found their sweet spot price point at $250. I don’t think they would ever try and release something for $450 or whatever you said ESPECIALlY with 12k backers. I also believe that Steve said there would not be another ring if this were made.
However to play along…
SS 97 Bret Hart (same accessories as the DM)
97 Bulldog ( jacket and euro title)
The Patriot (would be pretty cool) with the American Flag

If they could follow through with it, this would be the time to finally do Linda. Not likely to happen, but it'd be cool to finally get her after 3 abandoned prototypes by Jakks.
I'd say Raw Stage with Vince in suit as the primary item, maybe a bigger more common name like Rock in a removable track suit or Austin in black shorts w/ multiple shirts as Tier 1, Jerry Lawler in his more regal red/black commentator gear (w/ table and monitors) as Tier 2, and Linda as the big final enticing goal in Tier 3.

450 is absolutely infeasible for a crowdfund for wrestling fans. Almost twice the cost of the last one? Especially to require double the amount of backers needed. Itd be a terrible idea to do such an expensive bundle, and odds are the whole crowdfunding concept wouldnt be revisited after it failed.

A lot of people bought 2 New Gen Arenas which would bring them at around this price point. That coupled with the reality that this is WWE’s most well-known look…I could see it happening. It isn’t worth arguing and saying it should happen because let’s be real: the less it costs, the better it would sell. This is also an exercise in “what would it take to get people to actually pay that much.” Try to have fun with it as well like others have in this thread! |
