This guy is getting massive pops. He has that charisma that just oozes out, he barely has to do anything. Reminds of Batista when he got hot before taking the belt from HHH at WM. They have to play their cards with Wardlow right. He needs to squash MJF and then take the World Title, this guy can be their mega star!!!!

I personally would rather see Wardlow as AEW World Champion before the likes of CM Punk or Bryan Danielson, that's for sure.
Wardlow is new, refreshing, and has a homegrown AEW feel to it.

I’d personally have MJF take the belt from Page and then have Warlow Diesel him.
As much as I love Punk, my number 2 all time favorite, he doesn’t need to be champion. If this company wants to remain fresh, they need to continue to build around the future. Warlow is that future.

So far so good with him. I'm enjoying it right now. For me though, gonna have to see how things play out after this MJF story before I declare him next in line for the World Title. I'd be down to see him beat Sammy for the TNT Title after this MJF story though.

So far so good with him. I'm enjoying it right now. For me though, gonna have to see how things play out after this MJF story before I declare him next in line for the World Title. I'd be down to see him beat Sammy for the TNT Title after this MJF story though. Sammy is a black hole, does nothing for me honestly. He could go to WWE or anywhere else and they wouldn’t skip a beat in AEW. Guys like Wardlow, Darby(who has grown on me), Hangman are the draws to me. Sammy can’t draw a dime. |

I'm a massive Wardlow fan, but he's not ready to be a top guy.
Right now, his ceiling is a Miro-like TNT Champion. He has the potential to be AEW Champion, but he needs a little bit more time to cook.

Yeah,I agree about putting the TNT title on him after Sammy. Tbh when people was saying he's a pretty much guarantee future AEW champ I didn't see it personally but the last couple months has changed my mind but I still don't want to see it any time in the near future. I think its so many guys that should hold it before him and just like Hangman it will feel that much bigger if it takes a good amount of time before he reaches the top of the AEW mountain. Me personally I want to see MJF,Darby,Bryan,Cole and maybe a second Omega title run before we get to Wardlow.

Love his security based entrances (yes it's very WCW Goldberg) but it really does make him feel like a big fn deal

The crowd even chant his name to the same tone of the Goldberg chants, Wardlow has incredible intensity and an aura to him that screams out star.
Hope his career lives up to his potential!

Not entirely sure what there is to appreciate. In my honest opinion... he's really nothing special. Any appreciation should go to MJF for doing all the work, and getting him over - considering he's bang average in-ring and worse on the mic.

They should let this marinate as long as possible. They need to squeeze every ounce out of Wardlow’s chase as the trend in AEW is the chase is where the good stories and money is

I think Wardlow is decent. I like him, but he's not in that top tier of guys. He should've definitely won the TNT Title a few months back before they shat the bed with the Sammy/Scorpio storyline.. I see him get compared to Goldberg and Batista a lot but the thing is he's really nowhere near either of those guys frankly. The only comparisons I can see are that he gets the security entrance like Goldberg and has done the Batista turning on Triple H storyline. He's just a slightly worse modern day variant of those guys without any of the gravity those guys carried with them
