Over the last month and a half I have purchased a bunch of marvel figures. Recently I purchased 3 different figs. Colossus , Ghost Rider and Ultimate Rhino.
Every single figure broke within 5 mins of taking out of package. These figures are very similar to RA , near the shoulder joint(cept ghost rider). My son went to pose them to normal stances and the arms broke right off , Yes it was in a normal posable spot. Has anyone had problems with marvel line? I think its due to excessive paint sealer or poss paint in the spots. My son is so upset as I was finally able to get the chase figure of Rhino tonight.

Damn. All 3 broke with just initial posing? That's strange. I've had many with joint problems (too loose or too tight. . . .or limited range of motion), but never something THAT severe! Heck, I'd just take them back for a refund or exchange for something. Tell the store that they were broken when you opened the package. It's no big really, because the store will get damaged merch credit. The distributer deserves to have to eat the cost if you ask me. . . .

I have had similar problems with a lot of my Marvel figures... Call Toybiz and maybe they can do something for you.

I've never had this problem.. but if you have any stiff joints at all heat them up with a hair dryer and let it cool while moving the joint. They won't break then.
If they weren't stiff and broke anyway, that sucks.

I have had similar problems with a lot of my Marvel figures... Call Toybiz and maybe they can do something for you. They'll just say they can send you something comparable, but more than likely not the same figure. Just return them to the store you got them from.

Like ecwlives said, the paint around the joints is always really thick and is just askin' for trouble.

I got Iceman for my birthday two weeks ago and his pelvis (the two pieces that hold the legs in place) broke out of the blue. I called Toybiz's help line and they told me they had no more series 8 figures. I contacted the internet website and they told me they were out of series 8. (I asked who else they had and I still haven't heard back).
I can probably find a clearanced Rhino around here in Michigan. I see them a lot. Everyone here has moved on to Scorpion and Sandman.

I don't care what Toybiz says, the ML and SMC are too fragile for kids to play with.

Unfortunately, sometimes Toy Biz joints suck. It happens with all lines, but it seems more frequent with Toy Biz. You just gotta be careful bending them until you hear them "pop," then they're good to go. Yes, I know, "But my kid shouldn't have to be careful with his toys." Valid point. E-mail the customer service line and complain. Take the figs back and get a refund. And let me know if you need an Ultimate Rhino. My TRU is flooded with them.

i have had a few problems myself with marvel legends, when i got punisher series four the arm fell off as soon as i took it out the package, also i have had figures with really loose joints straight out of the package, this really bothers me as sometimes its the foot joints and they w'ont even stand up.

The only ML-related problem I've had was that the thumbs popped out of Beast's hands, and I couldn't find them to put them back in.
