I find it kind of weird that during the Attitude Era, when it seemed like everyone was winning title belts of all kinds, that Gangrel didn't win one single championship.
He would have made a great European Champion or even Hardcore Champion. Hell, even one half of the Tag Champions with either Edge or Christian would have worked too back then. But nothing...
I wonder why Vince didn't feel to give Gangrel any small title reign when guys like D'Lo, Henry, Venis, Jarrett, Snow, Holly, and others were getting title reigns of the lower belts but not Gangrel.

He had a rough string of injuries of lot of his wwe career. Particularly with his elbow. It was such a competitive roster that I think once a guy got hurt enough he was just a solid hand.

I would have liked him as a European champ

Honestly just came to timing. Most of those title reigns you mentioned from others came out of good storyline opportunities and feuds. Gangrel just wasn't in the right place at the right time booking wise, especially once he became the third most popular member of the brood.

One thing that gets overlooked was when he tagged alot with Edge in late 1998, they were on fire as a team! Their double moves were actually awesome and looked visually impressive.
Their chemistry was excellent. I think it was a combo of Gangrel's veteran skills and Edge's flawless tag-team mind that came up with exciting double team moves, and his ability to have chemistry with pretty much any partner - even early into his career.
