Can someone give us a little info on how to see this? I’d like to see in hand moc and loose photos of this please Facebook groups. There’s tons of them where people sell, trade, buy, talk about figures, etc. Can you give a hint? What is the name of the group I should search for? |

Since then, they’re a lot easier to find in store and on the app - they have their own unique DPCI so when you go to target looking for Kane, you don’t have to worry about it being 20 Stacy’s instead. Also, we’re now getting legends Ultimate exclusives. This new distribution method is obviously working. |

I still think you're wrong, and as the replies to this thread show, alone, there are loads of the same figures being clearanced off left, right and centre. Not ideal. There’s obviously a reason why Mattel and Target changed the approach to legends distribution. Also, we’re now getting legends Ultimate exclusives. This new distribution method is obviously working. Even if these Legends figures are getting clearanced, its not nearly the same problem with the shelf warming figures in the past with assorted cases. It does in fact make figures easier to find, too. You can order them online for pickup much easier since they have a unique UPC, and they're actually getting clearanced because this distro method makes it easier for the retailers to keep track of true inventory of an item. Figures used to never go on clearance because the assorted case didn't provide true sales numbers in a lot of instances (i.e: HOF Tito on the shelf for 2 years at $19.99) And at the root of it all, Mattel maybe needs to make better choices with this line. The figures that are getting clearanced out are the ones that have low interest in the line, like the super plain Bob Orton or the Hurricane from 2009. That, or the figure is just made poorly, like the skin colored tights on the Heenan figure underneath the weasel outfit. They aren't always serving their target demographic with these figures. But the case breakdown is a good thing for collectors in the long run. It keeps figures moving through retail space at a good pace and makes sure that the hot items are ordered more often. |

Well I'll agree to disagree over the distribution thing. Perhaps it's something that just works differently in the US. Over here (Ireland) we only really have one (well.. two-ish) major toy stores that are countrywide and reliable, and it pains me to see Chyna still sitting on the shelf, knowing that someone is looking at the sales and thinking "this rasslin' stuff isn't selling very well" because they don't know the difference between a sought-after figure and a peg-warmer. Not that it really matters for this particular line anyway, as we don't get legends either way. Unfortunately (though thankfully a decent US chap has said he'd pick up stuff for me and ship it over! Which I'm incredibly grateful for). Just looking forward now to seeing people post their Kane pictures, so i know they're landing. Now, with cases of just the same figure, Smyths only ever seem to order 2 or 3 different figures... so a lot of the time (Steamboat!), we don't even get the regular version of the figure, let alone the chase. And don't get me started on only ordering/getting in 2 figures from the SummerSlam BAF set... 🤦♂️ |

Otherwise he'd have a load of them for sale, I'm sure. He just has one Kane and one X-Pac (I believe), and they're missing some accessories. |

Looking back, it would been awesome if this Kane had a glossy finish to his boots and mask. I think this is the best ‘02-03 Kane mask sculpt.
