I'm seeing alot of complaints about The Ulitmate Warrior getting another Ultimate (pun intended) but what do you guys expect? Mattel is in the business of making money and the fact of the matter is The Ultimate Warrior along with Hulk and all the other big name legends will fly off the shelf while people like AJ Styles and Sasha Banks hit the clearance section. We do need a few more big name legends like The Road Warriors and The Steiners but Mattel has to go with what they got. Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, nWo, Ultimate Warrior and other big names are money in the bank so expect to see a whole lot more.

i think steve made an appearance on a podcast recently and stated that the repeats we are seeing in the line are due to previously scheduled talent being moved out due to contractual issues or w/e.
not only that but the fan takeover Warrior could be considered an exclusive and not part of the main Ultimate lineup, so yeah.

For me it's more about the fact that the Ultimate Line is still relatively new. It's a form of getting extra articulation/accessories that we wouldn't see in the regular lines. I'd like to get some new figures of people who haven't had a chance before getting a 20th Warrior for the year. I'd preferred Van Dam, Rey, Seth Rollins who all have intricate attires and haven't had an Ultimate yet. If we're doing repaints give us WCW black singlet Bret. We've been asking for this figure for years and it would double as Survivor Series Bret (minus the wrist tape).

I’ll buy all macho mans. I’m done buying warrior. I’m done buying Bret. I’ll buy some Hogan here or there. I’d love more Rick rude. I wish we got more surfer sting. I’m done buying Shawn. I’m done buying undertaker.
< first time in line figures. [Except macho man and surfer sting]

They make Warriors, Machos, Hitmans or Hogans (upto and including NWO), I’ll buy em. I just wish they’d stop the rereleases (and I don’t consider turning an elite into Ultimate a rerelease, I get that, that’s an upgrade and different style of figure, no different to retro and elite in my view). If you missed out on a figure, bad luck!!! I don’t own all the figures I want, you know what I do, get on with life cause the world don’t owe you nothin… all the crying that some (and stress some) do about not owning a toy or not wanting to pay more then retail is pretty sad. So what? You missed out or weren’t collecting, that’s life kids. First world problem… (rant over lol)

Ronald McDonald sells too. I’m tired of the bozo FKA Jim Hellwig and Hotdog Hulk Hogan (especially ones not hotdog colored).

Here’s an idea. The sole reason a lot of legends arnt signed to a deal is because the deal isn’t right for them. How about instead of a one size fits all legends deal they work out individual deals for each wrestlers.
Ultimate Warrior’s deal is gonna be way different than a Bastion Booger deal.
If small toy companies can get deals with talent done then there’s….No reason Mattel / WWE can’t. They just don’t care and that’s sad as collectors.
I might be in the minority but I’m sick of the same old ppl over and over again and want obscure random wrestlers.

They’ll be more Warriors out possibly around that time and this could of easily been someone who hasn’t had an Ultimate yet. I’ll save my money though so for me it’s sort of good in a way.

These figures are priced anywhere from $30-$50 depending on the retailer and also factoring in sales tax and shipping costs. When you’re mass producing tens to hundreds of thousand of these and expecting to sell them at a premier price point then you need to make sure the big name top sellers are in constant rotation. And no one is forcing anyone to buy anything. If Warrior or anyone else you don’t like pops up in any upcoming line, then you’re free to skip on it.

I would have to imagine the bulk of figure sales in stores come from randoms, people buying for their kids, and not collectors. The average joe is going to recognise Ultimate Warrior, Hogan, Randy Savage etc a lot more than moving to talent down the card.

How do you know it's "one size fits all" (?), yet then go and name Ultimate Warrior's deal vs Boogers, knowing full well those are going to be by absolutely no means the same type of deal.... We don't know what goes into the offers on the table, the process in getting likenesses signed over, the politics, the reasoning behind some signing and some don't. Unless you have the inside scoop, you're speculating. But I guess it's fun to make up stories and come to conclusions.

My issue isn’t that Warrior is getting another Ultimate …..my issue is that we seem to get a lot of the same attires over & over….like seriously, how many times is he going to be released in the WM6 attire & how many of virtually the same figure does one need? …..I’d like to see more of his Wcw look & a SS91 version with the tracer released soon….why can’t we have those?

There’s no appearances for him to make and nobody is gonna buy a tshirt or poster with him on it…..But Mattel could make a badass elite that collectors would love….We got the Goon so no reason to think Booger wouldn’t sell. Again he’s passed away so I’m pretty sure his wife and kids would be flattered that WWE / Mattel would make a figure to honor him. For all we know his family might not even want to be compensated just an awesome figure that they can show his grandchildren might be enough. But this gets us back to putting everyone under a legends deal.

None I suspect are highly requested characters but would sell just as well as Rocky Johnson or Goon.
