People out here paying well over retail for UE figures. $60-$70 retail will be fine. Marvel legends does it all the time who is out there paying that much, they retail for 29.99, the most I ever spent on one was 45 which was just under my budget cut off for figures, can't imagine having that much to blow on one figure

Figures sell all day everyday for hundreds of dollars each. If they launch this with the right duo or duos they will have no problem selling them at $60 to $70 a piece.

3 Faces of Foley: KOTR 1998 Corporate Mankind, bold font tights 1998 Cactus Jack, and heel Dude Love This would be amazing. If this happens I hope it is readily available so that everyone can get one.

First off, people believing this guy is hilarious.
Secondly, if Ultimate two packs became a thing, obviously Iβd buy them. It would essentially be the same as buying both figures in a series price wise so wouldnβt see the big deal.
That said, I hope it just sticks to singular packaged figure.

Itβs just people speculating and wishing for who theyd want. I donβt think people really believe this dude

Marvel Legends has high priced items too but they do not do well in retail. Figures that are worth a ton now were on clearance at Target because no one bought them in-store. Marvel multi-packs are constantly being clearanced out because casual toy buyers, like parents buying their children toys, are not going to go for the two figures for $60+. Something in this price range needs to be an online exclusive.Β I just donβt subscribe to this mindset. Itβs literally just buying 2 UEβs they just come packaged together. Itβs like saying people would buy $30 figures of Taker and Kane but wouldnβt pay $60 for a 2 pack.

Go look at sold listings for some of the Ultimates. Look at what Harley Race goes for. DM Bret. Plenty of others All those figures were retail price. AEW chases are retail price - until theyβre sold on secondary market. Itβs a proven fact that some people will literally spend hundreds of dollars on a figure that initially cost 20-30 bucks.

Its saying that if that Taker/Kane set was a $60 2-pack and it was on the shelves of Target, Walmart, etc., it would be rotting away until they lowered the price. These are adult-oriented sets with a price tag that reflects that. Most people preorder these sets before they come out to make sure they get one. That goes for most of the UE line so far which are higher-end figures. You can even see this problem with some of those -- a lot of stores still have shelves full of Rocks, Cenas, Takers, Kanes; and its even looking like the same might happened with Alexa. Retail stores aren't the place where collectors go to buy the high-ticket toys. Almost all of that business is online now. Target still stocks these items but they almost always end up on clearance or have a very short distribution because they sell poorly.

The thing is kids are the main market when it comes to WWE figures and parents will only pay a certain amount for 1 figure. My local Smyths stopped stocking Ultimate Editions due to poor sales so 2 packs would be a huge flop. When it comes to expensive figures they are best as a limited quantity.

My local Smyths stopped stocking Ultimate Editions due to poor sales so 2 packs would be a huge flop. When it comes to expensive figures they are best as a limited quantity. Sure, kids are their driving force for most sales. But they just got 8,000+ people to fork over $250 up front for a set that wouldnβt be out for a year plus. I know 8,000 doesnβt seem like a lot but 8,000 x $250 is 2 million. Thatβs a lot of money. Paid in full, up front. The market is there. Seems like brick and mortar stores is a good place for expensive items to die, depending on the geography. What I mean by that is I live close to a big city and $60-$70 Ultimate 2 packs would sell all day long around here. But if I drive a couple hours away to an obscure Walmart then they might not sell as well. And Iβm sure some 9 year old kid would love Ultimate 2 packs. But thereβs so many factors to it. Can their parents afford it? Maybe their parents donβt wanna pay that much for something they know will get beat up and destroyed? Tons of scenarios for sure

1. Mega Powers 2. Steiners 3. Outsiders 4. Razor - HBK WMX 5. Hollywood - Rock WMX8
LOD and Demolition would be great too, but are not likely and I am a big fan of the elites we already got for these teams.

They could come with the WWF title since their forming was centered around Andre winning the title and selling it to DiBiase. Andre in his black singlet wrestling gear with multiple heads, hands, a removable suit (like the one he wore at the Royal Rumble for the contract signing). DiBiase in his wrestling gear, with multiple heads, hands, and his tux - which could be either the black and purple (wore this at many interviews during this time), white and purple (wore this when Andre beat Hogan for the belt, and put on the WWF title), or the green and silver (wore this at Summer Slam 1988 vs the Mega Powers). They could even throw in a Million $ Belt, though he didn't have the belt during this run. Either way, sign me up for these two.

They couldn't even keep the Elite 2-pack line going, although a big part of that was the figure choices. How should I say this - I love the work Mattel is doing, but some of their choices are very questionable. Many of the Elite 2-packs seem like things that shouldn't have been Elite 2-packs. The HHH/Jeff set? How many people were asking for that Trips? If they had made the Elite 2-pack Xtreme Hardyz like we all wanted it would have been printing money. Same with the HHH/Chyna figure. We all wanted Chyna but by pairing her with an unwanted Helmsley figure, they still can't offload the things. And what the hell even is that Bret/Goldberg figure?
Now, that said, if they did some of the ideas mentioned here such as the Steiners and the Mega Powers, then I bet the line would still be ongoing. Give us figures that we want both of them, not just one figure like the DX pack and certainly not just the accessories like the Bret/Goldberg pack.
As for the ultimates - I don't know how well they would work in this situation. You'd have to come up with some incredible lineups to sell them. I could see the Steiners flying off shelves. Mega Powers, possibly. Austin/McMahon, probably. Hall and Nash might even be doable if you pick the right gear. But outside of those, I don't see much in the way of pairings they could do that the average person would spend that kind of money for an ultimate 2-pack of and I certainly can't think of any current era duo that would sell. The closest I can think of for that would be if they gave us a pair of matching bloodline Usos with the tag belts to match Roman. Outside of those, I really don't see a line like this working.
