When the L.O.D. was feuding with the 3 man Demolition, Warrior was usually teaming with the L.O.D. during this even as WWF champ
Did it seem weird to anyone?
It's like they had no idea what to do with him so they just threw him in this feud that was going on
Why would Warrior have a issue with Demolition? Did the L.O.D go to him for help?

It’s probably as simple as him being the only other face painted wrestler running around at the time

I thought it was only on the house show loop only. Did WWF discuss the matches on TV or did they have TV matches. If only for house shows it makes sense. But what doesn't make sense is the Mr. Perfect feud. Was there any kind of buildup on TV with them? The issue seemed to be Tornado and Perfect primarily but of course Warrior was the bigger star so he has to be the Series team captain. It was like 1989 where Hulk was feuding with Zeus but Dibiase could captain a team more than Zeus could so he and Hogan, not feuding were captains. Most Survivor Series matches made some sense, just not those captains.

The Warrior and LOD vs. Demolition happened on a Saturday Night's Main Event in Oct. 1990 before their Survivor Series 4 on 4 match with Tornado and Perfect in November.
So yes, they did have it televised at least on SNME with those six men wrestling.
But honestly for the OP it's simple, Warrior wore face paint, so did LOD. So it just goes together that they work as a team. Plus, Warrior wasn't doing much after Rude at SummerSlam. I feel by then Vince was already bored with Warrior and that's why Slaughter comes in at Royal Rumble to take the strap to hand it back to Hogan at WM 7!

I think that is basically what it was, Perfect was feuding with Tornado, Demolition was feuding with LOD and Warrior at the time, so they just put them together for the teams. Warrior and Perfect were the biggest names on the team, so they were the captains. |

I loved this as a kid and never on e questioned why Warrior was teaming with the LOD I just thought it was awesome.

This is reason numerous dos why Warriors run at the top was considered a flop. Numerous uno being Hogan being fed the Giant newcomer Earthquake while Warrior went back with an old rival in Rude.
The Rude feud was very logical but following that up with this completely sabotaged Warrior.
