having seen that Roadblock just falls apart like Ahmed did, I feel much happier knowing I dodged the bullet on that one!
I have no idea where Sal was during the quality control before production began, but this has to be a massive oversight on the part of Rush - they helped G+G and look at Ahmed, now their own figures are the same.... not good at all.
and frankly, inexcuseable. there is literally just a thin bead of glue holding Roadblock together - it such poor quality design, I don't understand how the factory can put this sort of crap out, and Rush have no way to challenge/demand replacements with better quality.

I can fully agree with Matt's view on the figures from Rush. They are garbage in looks and quality. At this point unless Rush does something big to recover from this disaster then they can go make their monster toys and please stay away from wrestling figures

I want so badly to like Hastel and rush items because both guys seem genuinely nice. It’s inexcusable for the rush figures to have been released like that. Zero.zero quality control and they took forever to get to collectors.

They look like really shitty McDonald’s toys, but McDonald’s toys don’t break that easy. That’s reaaaaally bad.
I get these are the cheaper option as far as the Retro company’s go, but I’d rather just rip up my money than wait a year for someone to do it for me.

I also wanted to add that I saw somebody on one of my fb wrestling figure groups was selling the Rush prototypes, those looked so much better than these. Something awful is happening during the painting process especially with Larry and they lose the little details they did have.

Jesus. I know people don’t care for the Major Pod guys, but it’s been helpful to have people this high profile in the scene that can order virtually everything to bring things like this to light. There’ll always be folks who think they have ulterior motives, but I’d probably never support a small line if I had Powertown, G&G and Rush all break on me in the same year.

Completely fair point, the godfather repaint was ridiculously priced and the after market prices on your own products, come on. But on the other hand his upcoming figures look good so I'll keep buying them I'll just never be a participant in his scalping games. |

I moved them all around. Both the Larry and the Roadblock. I did NOT grab the arm and twist them the way Cardona did, because that’s clearly a lot or torque for any toy, and I’m not trying to break them.
They def could be better. Why paint the torso and not sculpt it with flesh colored plastic? Details aren’t that great. It’s a pretty mid figure, but MWFP acted like they broke the second they came out of the package.
