Yeah, the torso is painted, the head is oddly painted, the arms feel like a completely different plastic than the rest of the figure. I'm going to try to upload pics after work tonight. He looks nothing like the promo pics rush put out If you have any trouble with uploading pics, you can just attach them to an e-mail and send them to me. I’ll upload them for you. My figure-related e-mail is jakksbca@gmail.com. Let me know if I can help in any way. What kind of spam do you prefer? Viagra related or just anonymous dates with married chicks? I have a friend in India who might be able to arrange even an inheritance.

They look more like Mannix than they do Hasbro.

How're you finding those on eBay? No matter what I type in, I can't find them.

I came across the Roadblock figure on Ebay the other day. They look clean, but too soft detail wise for my liking. Great figures though!

Go to ebay.type in Rush ring masters. I've tried every possible search term but nothing shows up even remotely connected to Rush. 🤷

Larry's face is a little odd, but other than that I think they look okay... obviously just from the pictures.

Larry looks by far the worst of them all. A cross between a bad Hasbro, and one of the San Fransisco poseable figures.
Jonah looks by far the best.
Roadblock in black looks OK. Glad to see they at least got figures out

They just look like knock offs and not official, even though they are. After watching his latest video it sounds like the same problem some other guys have had with quality and that falls back on the factory they are coming from. Im curious to see how the next ones look with the new factory’s in play as mitch’s have improved tremendously since switching and apparently these guys are working together/being supportive of each other when it comes to feedback and changes that need to be made.

I like the Roadblock enough to wish I had bought one. It’s worth noting these are half the price at the retail level of what we’ve seen from the other retro style creators.

Im curious to see how the next ones look with the new factory’s in play as mitch’s have improved tremendously since switching and apparently these guys are working together/being supportive of each other when it comes to feedback and changes that need to be made. what confuses me here is the inability of these companies to go back and challenge their own suppliers for failing to deliver quality merchandise!
how can a company blame their own suppliers for not delivering what they expected? what kind of contract have they signed with these factories?? How are they engaging with these factories and asking them for products?
"Hey, I'll take 500 units of whatever crapyou can drum up! Please make it as nice as possible, but if you can't do that, just anything will do really" ?
if a supplier has failed to deliver what was asked for/expected, and the companies expectations are covered in the contract, then companies like G+G/Rush etc should be able to reject/refuse the designs and call for a better version. I honestly don't understand how any business can get into a situation where they're failing to provide quality products and THEN blaming their own suppliers rather than admitting they should have been more involved/engaged in the overall process prior to production.
all I can imagine is they're viewing and signing off prototypes via Zoom rather than having these figures in hand to play with/check over before giving the approval to enter production. yes, the time to get designs approved and into production should be quick, but not so quick that you're literally doin everything you can without seeing the item and checking it's up to scratch before paying for hundreds to be made.

there is no excuse for the hair for a licenced figure to be less detailed than the type of quality you get in preschool toys

What is the Rush price? Really only $20-25 each?

I got the Larry and Roadblock from Asylum yesterday. The skin tones are way off, they both look anemic. Larry is especially bad due to simplicity of the attire and on the face... and oddly the left and right boots don't have the same amount of laces.
Chalk these down as a fail.

I have black larry and yellow roadblock coming. As soon as i saw the horrible skin tone and the puke color of roadblocks hair i knew i should've picked the black version because the yellow makes it look even worse. No texture on the hair either. Oh well
