Orders were supposed to go out yesterday. Did anyone get tracking Nope lol but it's the same song and dance every week. Still not one confirmation of an order received from his website yet he's supposedly shipped over 200 orders

I feel so sorry for those of you who've had to deal with this guy.
My big question -- how many people will ever by from him again? Hopefully this guy loses a lot of money for wasted product for new figures. He really deserves it.

I will definitely never purchase anything from him again and i can't see how anyone would after this fiasco. I wish i had ordered from asylum so at least i could've got refunded. It's pretty clear at this point, these orders aren't getting shipped. It's been 2 months since he's had these in hand. Wasn't each figure limited to 150? Bottom line is these should all have been shipped by now. I can't understand how he can think his business can be successful going forward without shipping these orders. Word will get out that he scammed people and that should be enough to discourage anyone from ordering going forward. Sucks for the people that ordered from him to lose their money but i guess there is nothing that can be done at this point. Lesson learned

Lesson learned I don't think he intentionally set out to scam people though. Something happened along the way to cause this. Maybe he spent the money that was supposed to be used for shipping and now he can't afford to ship. Maybe he's waiting for money from his next round of preorders. At this point though i do think he realizes there is no way for him to be held accountable so he'll just move forward with his business as if nothing happened. I hope major pod will use their influence to call him out on this and let his customer base know what he did and how untrustworthy he is. The only resolution we can get now is letting as many people as possible know not to order from this clown and hopefully that'll be enough to cause him to close up shop. He definitely deserves to fall flat on his face after pulling this stunt

Rush doesn’t have anything coming up that I’m overly interested in. The Monsters line would make for fun decorations but if they are more than $20 each, I’m not buying any. Larry has the quality of a $10 figure. It’s an independent, niche product and officially licensed. I get why it was priced higher than that but Rush isn’t earning any trust right now so I can’t say that I would actually pull the trigger.

He definitely deserves to fall flat on his face after pulling this stunt I'll happily call him out on it, because we need to acknowledge that a spade is a spade.
If he's used shipping money to pay for something other than shipping, that's not his customers fault, that's on him. He still has to deliver what he sold, or refund those who were sold a lie. He's the one who spent over 12 months with customer money in the bank, and wasted that time putting together a level of quality that is below the sort you'd find on bootleg figures in a pound/dollar store. At least those don't break apart just by looking at them.
Apparently there is no money for refunds (it's all been spent) and there's apparently not enough stock to fulfil the orders (which is odd, considering he said they were made to order....) so I can't see how you can blame this on anything other than decisions he's made, and sadly he has shown no remorse or made any attempt to put it right.
If the business hit rough times, like the costs for production went up, then that's on him. Take out a bank loan, accept you've made a mistake in pricing to cater for changes or whatever, and change that going forward to be more reflective of the actual production costs. But DON'T sit on your customers cash for a year, hoping they'll forget about their orders. You don't pretend everything is ok and start promoting your new lines whilst ignoring the people who already paid you and can't even get an email back explaining where their product is.
It's a good thing (for him) that this didn't go differently as if the credit card companies were involved from day one, either we'd all have refunds, or his personal credit rating would have been hit so badly, his own finances could have been seriously affected. I wouldn't want that on anyone, but this situation could have ended very differently.
I was hoping to buy the Monsters line (even Cthulu if necessary) as well as some of the Series 2 figures, but now I've got a Larry in hand, have since seen Roadblock in hand too (they were the only ones I was interested in too) and I can honestly say, I won't bother to back Rush again until I've seen a solid body of work from them. To sell the Monsters line, or any subsequent line after this, he should be looking to pay to produce the figures up front, ship them to himself, and only then put them up for sale - at least that way he'll know how many of each he's able to sell, and the shipping time will be minimal as he can fulfil orders each night as they're received. That's the only way out of this I can see for him, there's just no point in anyone risking more money on a preorder for a product that may never arrive, and they'll never see their money again either.

Several notes: I updated the name of this thread and the opening message urging people to exercise caution when dealing with this company. There are a lot of red flags at this time including Rush accusing the Major Pod guys of making the Sgt. Slaughter figure Hitleresque. In interesting news, Sal from Rush is selling some of his prototypes including The Patriot which we never got to see produced, sadly. http://instagram.com/p/CxdnpP5sUus

I agree with the renaming of the thread, as I've not seen anything out of Rush since the debacle unfolded to suggest otherwise. I was blocked for asking about a refund. Others seem to have been blocked for similar "transgressions" against a company which took people's money, and hasn't produced the goods they were sold. All he's interested in now is plugging the Monsters line and refuses to engage with anyone asking about the location of their previously ordered (and paid for) goods, or asking about replacements or refunds for broken figures they received. I don't know how anyone can claim to be running a legitimate business if that is how they treat customers who paid in good faith, and have yet to receive items worth the money they spent.

I will be very very surprised if we see any more wrestling figures come from them including the ones already announced.
Might explain why the Patriot figure has been cancelled and I’ll expect more to follow.
The “Monster Retro Figure” world are welcome to him and I hope both of his happy customers enjoy the figs

Didn’t CWF sell off their samples before they went under? Sal has no money. Again, this is the dude that was teasing DC/Marvel/Schwarzenegger licensed retros. Like come on.

Think he sold the prototypes to benefit either a charity or local sports team or something at the start on EBay. Then he had some some he was flogging with the “company” when he was selling it. The ring idea was great

I wonder if Mitch is going to distance himself from Sal. He might have done so already in private but he should make a public statement too. They were co signing one another hard in the beginning.

I’ve gone back and forth on that one. They did vouch for each other a good amount which may have lead to customers buying figures of one company or the other. On the other hand, I wouldn’t want someone else’s mess to hurt my brand. We don’t know how much Mitch might have already tried to help Sal. This whole saga isn’t over either. Some things that I’ve been wondering:
If those Marvel/DC/Movie figures from Rush get made, does that mean those companies are paying up front? If so, Maaaybe Rush was/is banking on that to finance some of the stuff that people are waiting on. Not a great move but it might help to explain some of his actions.
We really don’t have a good concept of how many figures he actually sold and how many figures are actually owed. Out of various Facebook groups, Instagram, and here, I am only aware of 3 people who have had this issue (and it might be 1-2 of the same people if they are posting in multiple places). Others have stated that he still hasn’t produced the European variant of Jonah or maybe hasn’t produced enough of them? That story is unclear to me.
Those are all facts that I wish we knew the answer to.
Regardless, there isn’t really any excuse for treating customers poorly, blocking them, using dated and inappropriate language towards them.
