I’ve gone back and forth on that one. They did vouch for each other a good amount which may have lead to customers buying figures of one company or the other. On the other hand, I wouldn’t want someone else’s mess to hurt my brand. We don’t know how much Mitch might have already tried to help Sal. This whole saga isn’t over either. Some things that I’ve been wondering: If those Marvel/DC/Movie figures from Rush get made, does that mean those companies are paying up front? If so, Maaaybe Rush was/is banking on that to finance some of the stuff that people are waiting on. Not a great move but it might help to explain some of his actions. We really don’t have a good concept of how many figures he actually sold and how many figures are actually owed. Out of various Facebook groups, Instagram, and here, I am only aware of 3 people who have had this issue (and it might be 1-2 of the same people if they are posting in multiple places). Others have stated that he still hasn’t produced the European variant of Jonah or maybe hasn’t produced enough of them? That story is unclear to me. Those are all facts that I wish we knew the answer to. Regardless, there isn’t really any excuse for treating customers poorly, blocking them, using dated and inappropriate language towards them. You think only three people are owed figures? Do you have me down as one of the 3. That would just make me (and the two or three others) extremely unlucky. If it were that few, you’d think he’d just refund us.

If it were that few, you’d think he’d just refund us. Yep. I think it’s just 3 people total. Lol cmon now. Seriously though, I saw one person on FB in a group and two people here. Others might have asked on IG but I’m not sure if they were referring to their own orders. He has under 3,000 people following him on social media combined (Twitter, IG, and Facebook). If you reduce that for bots and redundancy, it is probably much closer to 2,000. It is unclear how many of those ended up being actual customers. Larry eventually sold out and I have no memory of how well others did. Seems like Larry was 500/250/250 (for a total of 1000 Larry figures produced). I believe others have stated factories usually have a 500 order minimum so if that is the case…can we assume that there are supposed to be 500 Roadblocks and 500 Jonah’s minimum that should have been produced? That’s what I mean when I say its unclear how many were sold and how many people are owed. The complaints have been minimal across social media and even here and I’m wondering if that is due to how poorly they sold more then anything else (not that there aren’t more unhappy people out there). I think it’s possible that these things are just so unpopular that it is hard to even create enough noise to “cancel” Rush (and it’s getting to that point).

The Rush Larry & Roadblock (unsure about Jonah) variants were meant to be 1/150 I believe. Whether or not that's true is another story.

I want my money back, and I actually received the crap figures I'd ordered.
others who haven't even received their figures can only wish for a refund.
not sure how many are affected, but it's quite clear that Sal has Rushed away with our money.

I don't like social media, so I truly don't know the answer to this -- but can people report this guy to Instagram that he is a running a scam?
Seems like if he gets enough complaints, he could get banned from Instagram?

Personally, I'd say if you feel he's scammed people out of enough money to warrant being shut down, then I'd be trying to find out his real name and information and tracking him down to his place of work.
If he's outright blocking and avoiding people then he deserves to be confronted. He doesn't have my money, thankfully, I didn't bother buying any of that crap. I've got no time for scammers, though, he deserves a slap.

I got left on seen yesterday when I inquired about my order for the 3rd time. I’ve been nothing but respectful but I’m sure I’ll be blocked pretty soon. Back to the topic of how many people are owed… There are zero confirmed cases of people ordering directly from his website and receiving their figures(s). If that equates to as few as 3 buyers that’s beyond sad. I would imagine there are more but maybe not a ton. Still completely unforgivable.

How would one go about taking him to small claims court? Do you have to actually be present in court? I believe he is based in California and I'm across country lol so obviously it wouldn't be feasible to go out there for the 60 bucks he owes me but i do want him to somehow pay for what he's done

I think it has to be done in the city/town/county he runs his business from. So yes, unless a large group banded together to take him to court, it'd be a waste to do so for $60 and the court probably wouldn't even accept that to begin with. Looks like your only option is to try and ban him from socials (don't know how), and get the word out so that he doesn't get new customers.

Noticed that someone on EBay under the name lbbr65 based in Brooklyn New York has sold 16 Jonah figures from Rush!
Coincidence that the owner of Rush is from the same place?

I wonder if the local news team would be interested in investigating this story. Either save some customers at the end of the day or clear his name and turn it into some free publicity.

I didn't buy from this company, but some suggestions for anyone who did or for any of these other no-name companies that have been popping up.
-Always pay with PayPal, ideally linked to a major credit card -If you paid through PayPal, initiate a claim through Paypal. -If they do not resolve your claim or if you didn't pay through PayPal, contact your credit card company, explain that you have not received the goods you ordered, and request a chargeback. Your credit card will most likely be pretty accommodating. They should refund you the full amount of your order.
For the dollar amounts and overall volume being discussed here, that's your best option. Maybe a flood of BBB claims will ding his business, but he'll just close this "business" and start under another name. If you want your money back, the options above are your best bet.

Unfortunately my credit card company denied my claim because it was past the time period. I even explained to them i couldn't call any earlier because the figures were still being produced but they still said no
