I mean despite what Matt says and anyone on here, all signs have pointed to the guy having some troubles again. He needs a break, or to retire that’s for sure.

WWE is looking pretty smart now. So many people thought that Jeff was good now in spite of the house show incident. I get zero pleasure seeing a legend like Jeff make mistake after mistake. I’m not one for I told you so’s, but I wasn’t exactly jumping for joy when he was signed on the heels of his WWE firing. He just can’t help himself. One of these days he’s going to kill someone. It’s just as infuriating as it is with the Usos, but the only difference is that I get arrogance from the Usos whereas I get idiocy from Jeff Hardy. It actually pains me to say this, but he needs to be blackballed.
As for what this means for AEW, the biggest takeaway is that TK really doesn’t know what he’s doing and it shows. He’s basically the male version of Dixie Carter, only slightly less naive…slightly. Classic Schmosby.

It’s so sad to see. Dude, go to rehab.
And please don’t turn this into a damn WWE vs AEW debate. This is about a man with a history of substance abuse who needs to get help. It’s also possible to support him and hope he gets help while still calling out the potential of him being a danger to others. I really hope he can turn his life around and stick with it.

Damn, I hate to see this man. Hardy’s been my favorite since I was a small child and it sucks to see this happen time after time.
As someone who has experienced substance abuse in my own family, it’s hard to navigate when it’s someone actually close to you. The tough love isn’t easy and you really can’t help anyone unless they want to be helped themselves.
Maybe it’s time, like others have said, for Jeff to just be blackballed away from everywhere to get help he really and truly needs.

Khan did this guy no favours in booking him in trash violent gimmick matches, I'm delighted the ladder match won't be happening now surely.
Jeff needs help even if he thinks otherwise, i feel sorry for him but he is a liability to himself and others. I wish him well but fear the worst long term.

How many is this? If he keeps it up it's a matter of time that he'll be in Sunny territory. Guess he should have taken the WWE's advice, they wanted him in rehab for a reason. But yea, we can't say that can we?

really sad to see. hope it is addressed properly and that Jeff can at the very least not risk others safety with his behaviour.

Jeff has been one of my absolute favourites for over 20 years and I’m so sad to see this. I thought it was more than just simply an injury at the PPV, especially considering Matt said it was a concussion and then was only pulled from TV for a week and then advertised for a ladder match. The signs were there and it’s unfortunate AEW, Matt and Jeff allignored them. Since his signing it’s as if they’ve had a check list of things to do with The Hardyz to get done as quick as possible, as if they knew he wasn’t going to be there very long. Hoping Jeff realises it’s time to walk away from wrestling and not just for a few weeks, but for a long time until he’s fully ready, if at all. Shame all round.

He'll get no sympathy from me. It's gonna take him killing someone to learn his lesson at this point.

Someone get Page to help him out. Dally worked wonders for hall in his last few years of life and has done the same for Jake. Look at Buff currently getting help, Hardy needs to see what he can do.

Bryan Alvarez was talking about it today on observer radio and he said Tony really only has two options here considering what happened with WWE. He either releases him outright or he tells him he goes to rehab or he is released. That’s it. He has no license. This is his third one in ten years. Who knows how many other times he drives under the influence. He has millions of dollars, there is no reason to not Uber, Lyft, taxi etc. there is no excuse for this anymore.
He is going to kill someone.

Tony released a statement today. Suspended without pay until he's completed rehab and is ready to return sober. Also posted a link to an organization for help. Mentioned he was able to contact Jeff and Jeff was willing to accept treatment.

the guy has to have friends right? like, isnt there someone he could pay to travel with him, hang out, drive him around etc.
when you have the demons that this guy has, but you are a millionaire...you should be able to afford to pay people to drive you around. i kind of understand not just wanting to call an uber...you dont know who you're gonna get. so if you wanna party? be smart and hire a driving service, it cant cost THAT much...he's probably spent more on bail/bond in his life than he would have just having someone drive him if he wants to get drunk
