So if I’m the wwe and I’m dealing with this Vince story, and now the news that Orton is out for months due to a back injury and that Riddle is most likely gonna main event Summerslam against Roman. Wouldn’t you at this point give Riddle the belt tomorrow night? Then just have Roman take it back at Summerslam?

Why have Roman as champion at all? This reign has been plenty long. At this point, he's blown through so many challengers that its not even going to be a very exciting or satisfying loss when someone beats him for the belt. WWE books the unbeatable champion to death, who cares who beats him at this point? Drew in the UK...cool. Cody when he's back from injury...cool. Seth Rollins just because?...cool.
They are 100% lacking stars and I say just have him lose the belts. Let him stay home for the summer if that's what he wants. This product is so jumbled that I do not see a reason for this title reign.

Riddle definitely isn't ready to main event. If WWE would modify his character, they might have something. He's a really athletic guy, but his gimmick just isn't worthy of a top spot.
