I figure I jump on this bandwagon with my fav of all time.In no order... vs Steamboat WrestleWar 89- Damn tough to pick from the 3 they had that year but I'm comfortable with this one. The Funk attack post match is the cherry on top which leads me to.... vs Funk GAB 89- They beat the sh*t outta each other here. Just awesome all around. Rumble match 92- Best Rumble ever. Bobby/Gorilla on commentary top it off. What a performance here. vs Sting Clash 1-The match that sent Sting to the top. Great story told here with the 2 instantly clicking. They really made you feel he would win the big one.The start of one legendary feud And remember humanoids...You always gotta be fair to Flair!!!!!

vs Sting - Clash of the Champions vs Steamboat - Chi Town Rumble Royal Rumble 92 vs Savage - Wrestlemania VIII These are probably my picks as well. Though you could easily go with RR92 and the three Steamboat matches from 1989. But I do feel that both the Sting match and the Savage match deserve a mention. Flair's match with Steamboat at Spring Stampede 1994 also deserves a nod as well. He also had some really good matches with Barry Windham in the NWA, but I can't remember the events.

Even though I am an "old school" fan as crazy as this may sound to some folks, Ric Flair has never been a guy that I have particularly liked! He is probably the biggest star that just never clicked for me, but I will still pick my favorite four matches of his Royal Rumble 1992: One of the greatest Rumbles of all time and the WWF did wonders to make him look like a star here. This Rumble had a ton of star power in it too so his win really felt like it mattered. Survivor Series 1991: I am sure not many people will have this on their list, but I loved this match, it was packed with star power.... and Virgil! You could tell that all of the guys in this one were having a great time and anytime we got any kind of interaction between Piper and Flair it was always pure gold. Ric Flair vs Tito Santana: Battle Royal at the Albert Hall: I consider this one to be a real hidden gem! I was always a fan of Tito Santana as a kid, even when they made him El Matador. My grandparents in the 80s and 90s had a place in Spain so my grandad was all about Spanish culture so he always got a kick out of El Matadore. Anyway, this is one hell of a match and one that I am surprised the WWE has never re-released on more match compliations. Ric Flair vs Randy Savage: WrestleMania VIII: My favorite Ric Flair match of all time is his one against Macho Man Randy Savage at WrestleMania VIII. These two had amazing chemistry together and I also loved the whole story that this match told too. This was one of those matches where once Savage won, I lept out of my chair and started cheering. This was such a good match that you never really knew which way it was going to go.

And, I believe he was brand new to the company at the time. If I remember correctly the event was early in the year, he had just jumped from WWF to NWA/JCP.

I thought it was well done, and the best overall match of the night at Survivor Series 91. The only thing I didn't like about the match was very few eliminations, then all of a sudden everyone was eliminated. I probably would have eliminated Virgil and Mountie, maybe in quick succession, then do the brawl that gets the remaining guys except Flair disqualified. Also interesting is your pick of the Santana match - never expected to see that one mentioned. I honestly don't remember it, I'll have to go back and check it out. Santana was always a good hand - as they say - rarely did he offer up a stinker. I can imagine him and Flair having good matches.

Royal Rumble 1992 Survivor Series 1991 (although I don't like the ending, I prefer when wrestlers are eliminated one at a time) Ric Flair vs Randy Savage - WrestleMania VIII Ric Flair & Sting vs Terry Funk & The Great Muta - Halloween Havoc 1989

That Survivor Series 91 ending was brutal. It makes you wonder how difficult Survivor Series' matches back then were to book considering how guys were constantly protected. From Bad News walking out 2 years in a row to the PoP AznD Zeus being DQd to Demolition and LOD, and this mess.
I love the golden era but that was a huge flaw.

Rumble 92 V Mr Perfect loser leaves town V Savage WM8 SSERIES 91
I’ve only seen his NWA/WCW work through his DVD’s. A lot of great matches but the WWF mark in me is happy with my choices.
